I can't eat much yet as I'm only 11 days post op, but while I was on opti I had to hide the family's bread products so I couldn't see them, and it really helped.  I was OK with everything but the bread products.

Definitely! I rearranged everything. In addition though, because it's just the two of us, there's a lot of items I just don't keep in the house. I'm not confident around without adult supervision haha. top of that list is crackers like triscuits (my precious).

Im better at hiding stuff in the back of the pantry, but some things just have to go in the garbage. We had pretzel sticks at the super bowl. I wasted tempted at all on the Sunday, but come Monday, I kept circling the leftovers like a shark! Into the garbage it went!

Absolutely.  I keep things - even my snacks out of sight. Even fruits. Unless it is something i need to eat more.

Things in the pantry, or in cabinets don't bother me.  Some of them can make me sick. But some items needs to be wrapped up or in cabinets that I don't get to -often or ever. Because if I see it - I may eat it....

By accident we ended  with 2 full size fridge. One is in the garage. We keep some items there only.  My partner is very supportive of that.  I.e - his cookies are in a FR for him to have one or 2 if he chose to - but they are in a cookie box.

I banished some things, put others behind closed doors so I can't see them, and for the REALLY dangerous stuff DH might have I ask him to hide them (ex: homemade chocolate chip cookies).
