What's on your menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
Happy Friday, everyone! I have no real plans this weekend. I think I'm going to take my mom out to see her sister in Malibu and we might go to the outlet mall on Sunday. I desperately need a new suit. I'm just looking forward to relaxing a bit.
DQOTD: Live this question. I used to pay for coffee for the person behind me all the time, but since I use the mobile app, it doesn't happen that often. Maybe I'll make it a point to go in one day a week and order in person so I can start up again. I always try to hold open doors and help people who appear to need it. I guess the last thing was at the hospital on Wednesday. The elevators there are notoriously slow, and we were standing in a line waiting to get on. A person in a wheelchair came up and I let them go ahead of me, since we all weren't going to fit. I need to try harder!!!
My plan: Still going with the very small meals. I have an appointment on Wednesday with a endocrinologist who specializes in Dumping Syndrome to see if she has any ideas for me. Fingers crossed

L: 2.8 oz NY strip steak (in two portions about an hour apart)
S: Citrus marinated chicken 1.5 oz

D: ??? we normally eat out on Friday, so I have no idea. I'm having a salmon craving, so maybe somewhere I can get fish.
No totals but probably under 1000 and over 100g protein.

You and your husband and so cute Daisy! That was really sweet to get tht gift card. Those little treats are the first thing to go when money is tight. A little random act...it's a small thing. Yesterday at co op, one of the moms always cleans up the classrooms we use in the morning by herself while afternoon classes are going on. I teach in the afternoon so I can't help her. Yesterday we had a valentine party instead of afternoon classes and so I snuck down the hall and cleaned up the rooms for her.
My pictures are small too, but funny. You do endless little things for your kids that they will never know about or appreciate, and this was my trial of the week. We had 64 Valentine's to get together times four kids...260something Valentine's! They helped but none of them can do it all alone, so I was up late Wednesday finishin up...this included putting these evil little stickers/tatooes just so into the tiny little slits in the cards...what kind of sadist invented these things, I'd like to know??
Breakfast today was strawberries and blueberries with lemon ricotta dip...yummy! Coffee with fat free half and half.
Lunch- grilled chicken salad
Snack- tea and half a protein bar.
Dinner- rest of salad? Maybe a few more berrises? I'm making pasta for the family so I will need to come up with something for me.
Snack- 100 calorie chobani
