I'll have to take my tablet one of these Saturdays and take some pictures of the shooters and of me in my old time dress. I want to start shooting at some point but need a lot of practice before I feel confident enough to do with others. I'm fine with the rifle and pistols but have a rough time with the shotgun even with light loads. That's the eventual goal but right now I keep score for the others. It's a fun way to spend part of Saturday though.

It's so cold here, I'm such a temperature wuss now! It got down into the 20s last night and I was so cold I actually slept with pajamas, socks, and a robe on...under three blankets! I know it's going to get worse after surgery too...but I've had trouble temperature regulating since my thyroid decided to start being a freeloading pain in my butt....so I just layer up! 
I am off to have breakfast with my lovely MIL and the kiddo, then off to do some grocery shopping. We are having my brother-in-law and his family over this weekend for grilling on Sunday (our spastic weather...it will be 77 sunday hah!) so we will be picking up some delicious steaks. I want to make a healthier version of the staple southern dessert....banana pudding with nilla wafers...so sugar free pudding and lite cool whip (but shhhhhhhh, I won't tell Pat...he'll never know it's the healthier version!)
QOTD: I love random acts of kindness...the last one I did was I was in line at Starbucks, and I used my gift card for myself and the person behind me...I love doing that sort of thing. Occasionally I'll pay the toll for the car behind me too, if I'm at a toll booth. It's just a nice feeling. One of the best random acts I've been on the receiving end of was on our first wedding anniversary - we went out to dinner at a hibachi style restaurant and had a great time conversing with the random people at our table. We had mentioned it was our first anniversary...we were seated with another couple and then a group of sweet highschool aged girls....it was a lovely time. At the end the couple paid for everyone's meal....they told the girls to enjoy being young, and us to enjoy being married....and someday we can pay it forward. With all the fractious crap we see on social media and around the world...it does my heart good to see kindness in strangers

It was hard to pick my 'Photos of Love'....I have lots, that's a good thing right? 
My pictures are: Me and Evan - He was so little, and such BIG cheeks, Pat and I being silly in the woods at my family's farm...I love that we can just be silly together, he is my best friend. Last one is from our wedding...our photographer shot him helping me up the stairs after we'd been outside doing pictures...and I just love it.
If I was going to add one more, I'd add a picture of you guys....being I absolutely LOVE the OH family I've found and the support we give each other.
