Trying so hard...
Vent away! Be whiny, feel sorry for yourself... we ALL understand, no matter if we had to do the pre-op for 1 day or a month, it's hard. And you CAN do this, and when you start to see the scale move down you will feel so much better, and all those carb withdrawls and hunber pangs will subside just a little.
Beef broth was my go-to... I liked it A LOT better than chicken! I also got the hot and sour soup from the local Chinese place and strained everything out... I did that post surgery, but I bet you can do it now, too... so much flavor!
And try this
Height 5'5" HW 260 SW 251 CW 141.6 (2/27/18)
RNY 5-16-16 Pre-Op 9lbs, M1-18.5lbs, M2-18.1lbs, M3-14.8lbs, M4-10.4lbs, M5-9.2lbs, M6-7lbs, M7-6.2lbs, M8-8.8lbs,M9-7.8lbs, M10-1 lb, M11-.6lbs, M12-4.4lbs
I think it helps to understand why... those tools need room to maneuver and the more help you can give them by shrinking the organs slightly the better... don't want to knick any important stuff. Eyes on the prize... a healthier life.
Make a list of all the things that perhaps your health or weight have kept you from... a post-op bucket list to do.
Read blogs and look at before & afters as motivation.
When all else fails... brush your teeth... nobody wants to eat with a minty mouth and LOL you will just get more sparkle to your smile.
Sending you best wishes on your surgery! It was the BEST GIFT I EVER GAVE MYSELF. Hope you will soon be feeling the same way.
