Reporting back in to say that the Sous Vide Egg Bites did not disappoint! I had to post about it here because I'm pretty sure if I say one more thing about them at home, Grim is going to serve me a knuckle sandwich as a side dish. Really, I can't stop talking about the yum!
He's in for a treat, though--Sous Vide Rib Eye for lunch!
We'll report back in with results, later!
Good morning gang! It is chilly here this morning...about 55. Will be in the 70s all afternoon. I don't hate it. You should all come visit!
QOTD: We have two LazyBoy black leather couchs that have recliners built into the ends. Basically this means in our living room we have four recliners. LOL It is pretty awesome. The leather is great to clean when the puppy decides to be crazy a poo on them...which is driving me crazy FYI. The frames have not held up well and I wouldn't buy these again but we won't be replacing them...well..maybe ever...because they weren't cheap. NSV side note...Pam mentioned the sitting apart in recliners throwing relationships out of wack. Before WLS that is how we sat...now that I am this size I scoot in next to him and put my feet up on his recliner with him. Snuggles are way more fun now!
Accountability: Not sure how I am doing because I got off track on tracking. I didn't track in MFP yesterday and I don't like the feeling of seeing the scale up a little (124.2) and not really knowing what the heck I ate. Lesson learned...I don't like the feeling of not knowing exactly what I have done to myself. MFP will be happening more.
Night time snacking went pretty off the rails last night. I ate Greek yogurt with sugar free pudding mix...and a handful of Cookie Crisp cereal!?! I had no granola and I wanted crunch so...my son's cereal went in. Then I had 10 (!?!?!?!) saltines with peanut butter on them at 2:30AM. Yes, woke up and ate in the middle of the night. Uhg. I really thought I had thrown away all of the crackers in the house but then I realized the Guy bought those to go with his chili this weekend. Once I saw them in the pantry...it was on! Threw away the rest of the box this morning.
I made myself a batch of Greek yogurt yesterday so I am glad to have my regular supply back in stock. Tonight I am planning on making my granola and that will really get me back to my regular breakfast/lunch routine. I like routines during the week. I feel like the organization helps me. Am going to make the Eggface Ricotta bake for dinner and portion out extra for lunch and weekend quick meals. Plan plan plan...otherwise...disaster.
Chantix Monday is coming! I think I am going to be ready.

A few years ago when I used Chantix I had nothing but fighting the zombies in the apocalypse dreams! Constant fighting the zombies...every night...all night. I would wake up in the morning sweating and exhausted from running and slashing all night. LOL I am hoping for more of the 'good' WINK WINK dreams this time!

I haven't got one I like settled on yet. Last batch was a mash up of a few different recipes that went something like this... 2 mashed ripe bananas, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce; nuts and/or shredded coconut; several cups of rolled oats; few teaspoons of unsweetened coco powder; cinnamon and vanilla. Bake all that for a few hours at 325, stirring it around every 30 minutes or so. If I get a more official recipe that I really like I will pass it along.
