Good morning,

I slept in this morning so my meals will be off time schedule. I've got to have my 2 cups of coffee before I eat.

At least we didn't get the freezing rain and snow, they predicted last week.

QOTD I don't have a Valentine. If I did, i wouldnt want a whole box of chocolates, maybe just a single size serving.

B egg white and one whole egg ham and cheese omelet and sargento cheese snack bites

L cottage cheese and baby carrots 

D cream of broccoli soup

S Greek yogurt,  turkey sausage snack sticks and cutie orange

Hi all, late post...long commute and busy day already! Daisy, I'm still hoping you are getting some rest and opportunities to take care of yourself before jumping in hard to care for others. 

Day 3 of following my NUT's advice to eat veggies when I'm hungry and cut down on my morning protein shake and have a denser breakfast. So far so good! I didn't gain at all, even though Monday I legit only ate biscuits and butter. Lol. The veggies are also satiating me more than cheese or nuts would be (which is probably what I would be munching on). 

Tomorrow is going to be a work-from-home-snow-day and I plan to use my new toy to Sous Vide everything in the house. Literally everything. Outta the way, Grim!

QOTD: this feels like cheating...I don't think I'm supposed to say!

B: 1/2 fit frappe mocha & VEnti Starbucks iced coffee with whole milk; babybel light

S: 2% cherry Fage with 1/2c fresh blueberries

L: the rest of the leftover BBQ pulled chicken over riced cauliflower; carrot sticks

S: Trader Joe's turkey breast

D: not sure...if I'm exhausted, I'll eat leftover broccoli cheese casserole. If I have energy, I'll Instant Pot something! Maybe a pot roast?

within the past 2 weeks I have been doing the same- fixing 3-4 oz meat and veg for the rest. Last dish i did last night was that asian pork I cooked last night, some pikled red cabbage, plain coleslaw mix, some of the sauce and some sautee mushrooms. It was amazing and I'm FULL but not sick. Im not even wanting to cram extra crap in my mouth. So I think there is something to the veg option.

I also got some sugar snap peas, carrots, radishes and other super low carb veg I can have if the moment occurs. Oh plain celery also.

What "brand" of balsamic do you use?

QOTD: I will have chocolate on Valentines Day - I have some dark chocolate every evening with a cup of hot tea.  I have 1/2 serving (two squares) of Lindt Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt - 95 Calories, 12 gm carbs and 1 gm protein.  I'm a chocolate snob - so most chocolate doesn't tempt me.

B: Hot protein drink (Bluebonnet chocolate whey isolate with 1 ounce SF Dolce De Leche syrup)

S: 1/2 Pure Chocolate PB bar

L: Pouch of tuna with 1/2 cup organic cottage cheese

S: Starbucks London Fog (it's Earl Grey tea made with SF vanilla syrup and skim milk)

D: ?? 2 pieces organic ham wrapped around 2 organic cheese sticks

S: 2 squares Lindt dark chocolate

885 Calories, 38 gm carbs 111 grams protein
