What's on your Menu Today (Tuesday) RNYers?
on 2/7/17 6:44 am
Daisy, my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I hope they caught it early and that it is successfully treated.
QOTD - As I've mentioned before, I was almost immobile at my peak of 511. I would walk 20 feet and stop due to the pain and then continue and stop and continue and stop.... I can't tell you how many times people would stop with serious concern on their face and ask me if I was okay, wanting to call 911. That means when I walk into any building I find the first seat to stretch and rest. My employer moved 2 years ago and there is a couch at the entrance now. I sit there on my way in and way out and have become the official morning greeter. Yesterday I walked in and walked out without stopping once. I didn't think about it until you asked the question. Huh - a stealth NSV I guess.
B - Light and Fit yogurt (and yes, I only ate 90% of it - oh, brother! I hope that makes my NUT happy).
L - going out with co-workers to a new bento box place nearby. I looked at the menu and I can sub out salad for the rice (I'm getting the bowl instead of the box - it has less food). Grilled Salmon on salad with dressing on the side. I'm not eating much of the salad, as you know my NUT said no more than 1/2 cup total food volume.
S - leftover dinner of smoked sausage and pulled pork with some bbq sauce (my one indulgence - regular bbq sauce - but not too much)
D - Couple eggs with a little of the leftover guac from Superbowl (have to toss it out after tonight)
S - Syntrax lemon tea shake
That's a great NSV!!!!

Thank you Alan for your prayers & support!
I am so thrilled for your NSV! That is seriously awesome!!! And I love that until you talked about it out loud that it didn't even occur to you! I bet the office people are missing their morning greeter!
Your menu is fantastic, that's a lot of protein, you are doing awesome Alan!
Daisy- I'm sending you much love and prayers. Please let me know if I can do anything. I'm not too far from your parents and I'm off work for 3 more weeks.
QOTD - I'm early out but NSVs are already happening. Energy levels are returning and getting better. I had problems with leaky bladder - it was minor but now, 32 lbs from highest weight it's already better. No more heartburn - I know that's more from the surgery than weight loss but for someone who lived with tums on her bedside table, this is huge. Clothes fitting better, knees not so achy. I'm really excited to see what the next 100+ lbs does.
Menu- I move to soft food this week so I'm excited about that.
B- Vanilla Premier protein with decaf coffee
Lunch- Greek yogurt - I didn't make it yesterday as I had no starter. So going to do that today.
D- Not sure yet. I'm trying crack chicken for the family so I may reserve r some of the chicken for me and cook it separately.
Kids have a snow day today due to freezing rain. So they're all home. I have to come up with some chores for them. Otherwise it will be a full day of screen time.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
I bet your could puree that chicken crack and it would taste almost as good as it does just the way it is! If you can have pureed chicken, I highly suggest this!
