Good morning Daisy and menu friends, oh Daisy my heart sank when I read the news of your mom's breast cancer . I am so sorry that your mom and your family has to go through this, on top of what your dad is already facing. Your in my prayers and thoughts. Hugs to you my friend XO ð?'-. 

QOTD : A NSV that I actually had this morning is, I couldn't find this note book and after tearing up my room I thought maybe it's under the bed. Well hubby had already left for work and I kinda panicked cause with a knee replacement on one leg and a bad knee on the other leg I haven't been able to kneel in a very long time. Well I gave it a try, I put a pillow down on the hardwood floor and down I went. I looked under the bed and there was my notebook. I reached out and grabbed it then I was able to stand up all by myself and I did it with ease. It sounds so silly but with 100 plus pounds on me there is no way I would have even attempted to do this. Yay, win for me. 

Menu 

B  1 egg omlett, 15 grams of cheddar, 10 slices of Turkey pepperoni 

L Protein Drink 

D 2 oz of ground turkey, spaghetti sauce added to make 1 cup 

S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt 

Totals 640 calories 79.5 grams of protein

I love your NSV!  How awesome is that!  There was no way when I was MO that I was getting down on my knees either b/c I was not getting back up!  So I am super proud of you for trying and so glad you found your notebook!!!   Win for sure!!!

I hear ya about being afraid of not getting up off the floor. I pictured myself texting hubby to come home and help me up. lol he would of.

So sorry about your news and wish all the love and calmness for you in this stressful time.

Not much going on here, been busy working and not killing my seedling plants! I have lettuces, cabbage, cauli, marigolds and onions started and almost READY for ground once the bed is built. I think we will be working on that sunday. Saturday I'm going to a candy making class in the 'city' - it will be chocolate truffles etc. I plan to take those skills and maybe create some lo card from it. I've made chocolate mold truffles before but would like a pro teaching much better.

QOTD: hmmm, we are going on a quick vacation next week starting Wed. I had a $10 groupon code and booked one of those bike taxi people thingies for it in Savannah. I would have NEVER EVER booked this before because I would not want someone pulling my almost 300 pounds frame in a bike seat. Pretty cool.

 

Went 50 calories over my 780 goal. I decided at the last minute to sabatoge myself and eat 6 pecans and a tiny square of bittersweet chocolate before bed. Caused me to go over calories. It was so impulsive like I could not stop myself.

Today will be better:

eggs

coffee

doctored water

tuna/romaine

dinner will be asian pork (noodles for DH) in IP

You are below goal... dark chocolate and 6 pecans doesn't sound like something you should beat yourself up about... I know it may not have been planned and that is the danger zone... are you still trying to lose?

Yes, I'm still trying to lose just a few more pounds. I would like to see 118 which is the super low end (almost underweight) category.

I'm about  5 pounds away but those last pounds really are taking forever so I get frustrated.

I am just going to remind you those BMI charts are generic and that 5lbs may be skin. If you were saying 30lbs...no it is not skin...but 5lbs can be skin, and like I found out, I had higher than average muscle mass from years of MO. There could be many reasons.  You may not have 5lbs to lose. Something to consider.

I think it is more of a urge to 'get my money's worth' Like I'm not a success if I can't get down to the 118 in my mind. I want to lose as much as possible. I'm sure it is a mental issue (hurdle) to get through.
