Thank you Peach for your prayers and support, means a lot to me.
I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I'm sending thoughts of strength, hope, and courage your way for what the family has to deal with in the upcoming months/years.
QOTD: Last evening, after our 3+ mile walk, I suddenly realized that my feet don't hurt all the time anymore. They don't even hurt after a lot of walking/standing. Before it almost seemed like torture to walk from my car to my office.

S: 4 oz shrimp
D: Pulled pork and maybe some veggies
E: 60 min. stationary bike

Thank you Anny for your love & support, means a lot to me!
3 mile walk - YAHOO! And yes on the feet not hurting!! OMG it used to be torture to walk 25 steps let alone 3 miles, I so know exactly what you mean!!! Awesome NSV girl!
Btw awesome menu! Look at you all protein! Proud of you!
Oh, Daze, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's diagnosis. These first few days when the news is sinking in and there are still so many questions about what's to come are so incredibly difficult - I will be thinking of all of you.
QOTD: My NSV from the past few days is that while I had a weekend full of not-so-great food choices, I shook it off and am back in the game. I also tracked all (or a decent estimate) of the awful things I put in my mouth instead of pretending like it didn't happen. As I struggle to reign in old habits, this definitely feels like a victory.
I'm looking forward to this afternoon. I'm taking a group of my staff to the construction site to see the progress for themselves. I get so excited every time I'm there and I'm happy they'll get to see it too. My staff bares the brunt of the public's annoyance at the project delays and the small size of our temporary location - I think seeing how things are going will definitely be a nice morale boost.
Time since surgery: 2 years + 10 months
B: coffee and baked egg with turkey sausage
S: Siggi's
L: TJ's turkey meatballs with sauce and ricotta sweetened with SF syrup (I had forgotten about this delicious "treat" but had some ricotta in the fridge to finish up and I'm super excited for it!)
S: nuts and string cheese
D: chicken fajita wraps - this is thin chicken breasts wrapped around fajita veggies and baked, a new recipe, fingers cross
S: popcorn? Halo Top? one of the blasted Valentine's cookies that the Fella's mom insisted on sending home with us this weekend
V/W: on track
E: spent an hour at the gym this morning - it was one of those mornings where it just felt like such hard work and not in a good way, but I was there and I was sweating, so it counts, right?

Thank you Susan, I really appreciate your prayers and support!
Daisy I just gasped when I read your news. I will absolutely be praying for your Mom and my friends will be too... I pray peace for today in the midst of the storm.
QOTD: NSV? You made it a trick question by it having to be in the last 24-48 hours... and while these are nothing new they continually bring me joy that I can do them- I always say it never gets old that I can run up and down the stairs of my house when I need something- I don't have to calculate if I want to do it. This morning, forgot my fleece hoodie I like to wear in the AM until the house warms up- run and get it no problem... Did my 21-day-fix this AM, and the NSV that I want to do exercise...and I like how it makes my body feel. The first 6 months after surgery- I went with the 'move' philosophy- just set the timer and do what I could. Once I was 6 months out and 100+lbs down...I started exercising. So for 2 years I have been exercising almost daily minus surgeries and illnesses... and let me tell you it bugged me when I couldn't.
B: coffee latte with fairlife and Miralax, 2 eggs
L: Roast chicken, cheese, carrot sticks
D: Steak, stir fry veggies
S: Chai latte, yogurt with pecans, maybe protein bar
Ex: 21-day-fix, done!

Thanks Cynthia for your love & prayers & support!
Oh I totally second the running up and down the stairs as an NSV! If I forgot something upstairs before when I was MO I just said the hell with it and figured out plan B as there was no way I was going up and down stairs for just one thing! Now I do it all the time and don't even think about it!
2 yrs of steady exercise is awesome, keep those NSVs coming!
