Thank you Elizabeth for your love & support, means a lot to me!
I think your NSV is so wonderful and so important. Its so great to see how far you have come and it makes my heart smile. As someone who hates her boobs I think its a big deal to "accept" and love your boobs. Good for you!
Sorry you are still struggling with your meds, hope you can find a balance soon. I hear you on the night snacking, I struggle... daily!
I'm just way too slammed at work so I'm doing a quick drive by. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry Daisy!! I know this is devastating. The only thing you can do right now is be strong for your mother. Hang in there sweet sweet Daisy!!
QOTD: There are so many NSV's I had over the weekend but one that stands out is that we stayed the night at our friends house Saturday night after the chili cookoff so we could get an early start on the Superbowl party. The only thing I packed was a sweater and it was 80 degrees out so I was miserable. I borrowed a cute top from my friend who wears a size 10 jeans and large tops! IT was so nice to be able to actually be able to borrow something!

Thank you Rachel for your support & kind words!
I LOVE your NSV, you must have felt like a million bucks in your friends top, I bet it is something you never thought would happen, way to go you! Keep those NSVs coming!
Good morning.
QOTD: I will be 7 weeks out from RNY tomorrow. Over the past few days I realized that my hips no longer hurt at night while I'm sleeping on my side. I am sleeping so much better and no more tossing and turning.

Keep up the great work LissaK, and welcome to the Menu Crew!
Daisy, so sorry for that horrible news. My mother dealt with breast cancer, too. It is a scary road, not only for your mom and family, but for you. I have high risk screening every year now. Thoughts and healing energy going out to you and your family today.
QOTD: NSV. My sister had her birthday yesterday. We are snowed in here, and my mother asked me to make something dessert for her birthday. We have: no flour, no chocolate, no chocolate chips, etc. etc. I finally made a black bean cake with cocoa and my mother picked out the chocolate chips from a bag of trail mix she keeps in her room. It was THAT HARD to make a dessert. I used to be the dessert queen, which is how I got to 267 pounds. I did not have any but my family said it was a good cake.
B: Premier Protein chocolate with lots of coffee
L: 2 egg omelet with 1 slice Velveeta
D: Trader Joe Chicken Parmigiana, 1/2 serving, salad w/ff dressing
S: Syntrax fuzzy navel, babybel cheese, lots of sf cranberry juice with water
Totals: 682 calories 92 protein 18 carbs 22 fat
Good thoughts to Daisy.
*edited to replace the high sugar yogurt with an omelet.. saved me 10 grams carbs:)

Thank you Cheryl for your support and healing energy!
Your NSV is awesome, way to think outside the box!
Hope your wife is feeling better and is home resting now (sorry if you posted already about an update I must have missed it)
Great menu!!
Barbara came home with a nasty cold from the hospital but much better with the heart issue. Now we deal with almost a foot of snow... but hey, getting exercise!
Daisy, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Cancer is just such a scary word even with all the gains in treatments over the years. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
QOTD: I have a funny NSV from yesterday! At work I sometimes use this very old pick-up truck that is literally about to fall apart to get around the mill. Well yesterday I drove it over to our training center for a meeting that I was already cutting it close on. I put the truck in park, turn it off, take my key out, put on all the PPE and went to open the door. It wouldn't budge. I checked the lock - not locked - locked and unlocked it a few times, tried again. Nothing. Slammed by body weight into it a few times. Nothing. Said WTH 5 or 6 times, started the truck up and turned it right back off. Still couldn't get out of the truck. I looked around for someone to be walking by and of course it looked like a ghost town. So, I decided I had to crawl over the console. I was so sure that I wasn't going to be able to contort my body like that, that I almost knocked myself out when my hard hat hit the roof of the truck because my gut didn't get stuck on the steering wheel like I had imagined it would. I (rather easily) make it over to the other side - only to be locked in on that side as well. At that point I gave up on the meeting and drove over to the automotive shop so someone could get me out. Later on I had to send an email to my boss telling him I tried to go to the meeting but I had locked myself inside the truck...smh...never a dull moment in my world.
