Journey 3 + 3 vitamins
These are the ones I am using - when I showed my nutritionist - she said it met all criteria - I'm only 2 weeks post op - so I guess I will see when I get my first blood test.
They have chewable and non-chewable - and they now com in 3 Iron strengths
They are 1 a day :)
I see no calcium in this product which is prob good cause iron and calcium taken together cancel each other out so you none of those.
you will need to add calcium citrate seperstely
Pretty sure the directive is that calcium is always taken separately - 2 hours away from your multi and your other calcium :) - I didn't specify this - because I thought that was the norm :)
no it is certainly not the norm in the states.
that is why so many surgeons/ nuts push the one in all bits because they are ignorant of the issues. That is why I respectfully disagree with your statement that one should follow their centers plan like it was law. , no. We have seen more than one person come back to these forums desperate for help because their levels are in the toilet and they are suffering permanent damage, but they were following the plan to a T!
I would be sick or dead if I had relied on health professionals for advice. My new PCP is the first in 12 years who has a clue and he still took his cues from me.
NOONE cares more about my health than me and I would never blindly leave my health to any Dr. If you'd been here as long as me, you would know why we are so sceptical about the knowledge of those doctors, even after their 12 years of med school.
We hear these one pill a day "miracles" regularly and not one of them has ever panned out in the long term. At two weeks out it will make no difference. Come see us year 3 or 4.

and I will respectfully disagree with you - I would never ever take advice from a forum - over that of a trained professional - having said this - there is nothing wrong with doing your research and presenting your findings to your centre - you should be able to have open discussions with your treatment professionals.
Taking advice form a forum - when it comes to meds etc is ridiculous - nobody on here - and sometimes even including ourselves - fully know or understands our own unique health situation - our Dr's do - so they are the best equipped with making decisions for us.
Take advice from the forums - but don't act on them without consulting the professionals
yeah, two weeks out, we'll see. I am 7 yrs out and been on this forum nine years.
I bet they have you eating oatmeal too don't they?
Well I certainly didn't expect my post to cause such controversy - but then again - I forgot who my audience was.
It was just my opinion - which is what all these posts are - but let's not go down that route again.
I guess me being only 2 weeks out - as you so politely pointed out above - doesn't qualify me to know anything - or to even have an opinion for that matter
Thanks for your replies - I have taken down my posts - because quite honestly I don't have time for this - i have to go and eat my oatmeal
you don't need to be nasty to someone who is trying to help you.
we have seen a lot of people who got serious health issues by following some docs nutritional and vitamin advice. we are talking from experience. Some of us - been there.. And it took a while (like a couple of years) to recover from deficiencies or excess...
taht vitamin may work for you. or not. Only detailed lab work (and I mean really detailed) can tell you if it does or does not.
what is worse is taht during the first year post op - most of us can relay on crappy vitamins or minerals because we have a lot of them stored away... 2-3 years post-op - the real deficiencies start showing up... hopefully they can be "caught" before permanent damage is done.

You folks need to seriously take your own advice!
Nowhere in my post did I say - take this vitamin - all I did was say here is the one I take - my centre said that it had everything in it that I need - and it is once a day - for all I know it won't work for me - and I will find out when I have my blood tests done.
And as for being nasty - I was simply replying in the same manner as I was replied to. I didn't ask for their help - they took it upon themselves to jump all over me. Don't worry I have learned my lesson - I will stay out of this forum as obviously Canada and USA are different beasts when it comes to this process and health care in general.
Please don't feel the need to respond to this or any of my other posts - like I said - I don't have tome for the negativity.
o..the early days of hormones dumping...
I've been there... That too shall pass...
are you sure you are Canadian? you come-across as a Trump supporter would...
