Good morning!

My boys were very excited about the super bowl and the Pats win. That really was exciting though even for a non-football fan like me.

I am and always have been an extrovert. I love people, have to be around them and love love love social gatherings. We have a very small townhouse but I have been known to squeeze 20 people in here. If I had a bigger house I would host things all the time. People always tease me at our church get together and conventions that I know everyone. Lol. Surprisingly my kids are more introverts than me. They're a lot more content 1 on 1 or just being with a few very close friends than large groups. I always worry that they're being left out but they tell me over and over that's how they prefer it.

Menu today- Probably a vanilla Premier protein shake blended with ice and instant decaf. It's one of my new favourite things. The coffee really breaks up the sweetness.

Lunch- I'm not sure. I have to pick up more yogurt- or maybe I will make yogurt today. Maybe I will have cottage cheese instead. I didn't like it pre-surgery so will have to see how that goes.

Again not sure. Maybe chicken. Have to take a look in the freezer.

On another note, I was down over a lb 2 days in a row. So the scale this morning was 262.3. 19 lbs since surgery 25 days ago. 32 from my highest weight .

Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

The only way I ever chocked a protein shake down was if it had coffee in it.

Good morning! I am feeling motivated and strong today! They were forecasting snow for us, but it looks like it missed us and went north to Seattle. I am thrilled!

QOTD- I have always been a people person. I have noticed that over the past 10 years that I do shy away from going to social events with my husband or to his work get togethers. I don't want to be the fat wife. I feel embarrassed. I actually had not been to my husbands office in 3 years. If I need to drop something off for him, my daughter takes it to him.   I am working on it though. As the weight is coming off, I am finding myself stepping out of my comfort zone more.

My food plan for today-

B-  4- chicken sausage

L-3 oz  taco meat with 1 T. fresh salsa

D- 3 oz shredded beef roast with ketchup

S- syntrax shake

676 calories, 86 protein, 4 carbs

Weekend was good but busy! We worked on cleaning the house, fixing our contract on our new home, and our taxes! My husband had the game on while we worked on taxes, but I had to sit in my office and work my taxes out. Hubby and I have side businesses outside our normal 9-5 job, so we have a slightly complicated tax preparation. I was only able to join him during the half time show, and I had to go back and gather my documents together.

QOTD: I am an introvert first, but amongst people i'm close to, i'm extroverted, if that makes any sense at all. I stay in a corner at parties, but if its a small gathering of family and friends that i know, i will dance, sing, be goofy, and talk to everyone (without the help of alcohol).

Morning!

Today is cool and rainy...tomorrow highs will be near 70! And then in the 40s on Wednesday! Our weather is bipolar this time of year...spring? Winter? We don't know!

Ah, personality types...every time I take one of those tests, I test right in the middle between introvert and extrovert, just slightly on the extrovert side. That's probably pretty accurate. I love to go and do and be around people. Until I don't. Lol! We have a lot of people in this house, so frankly, just being home feels like plenty of interaction most days, lol. I do process things out loud like an extrovert though, I need to talk things out. My husband is very introverted though, so that makes for some interesting times. Stressful things happen and he wants to retreat and I want to talk about All. The. Things.

Breakfast- coffe of course. making turkey sausage wraps for the kids. Just innards for me.

Lunch- hmm. Deli meat and cheese roll ups I think.

Snack- hot tea, half a pure protein bar

Dinner- we are cooking Conneticut today. New England clam chowder. My husband is not a fan, lol. But we will give it a go and let him fix something else. I will try the chowder but have some tuna salad too.

Snack- chobani 100cal flip

All the things MUST be talked about.  I am like a hyena with a day old giraffe's thigh bone on that crap! Oh yes...aaalllllllll the things. No feeling is too small.  No worry or slight ought to be left like a morsel of marrow in the middle. My poor Guy. LOL
