OMG OH you suck! I had a whole post done and it went somewhere when I hit submit!!! UGH! Re-doing it again!!
How was everyone's weekend? I stayed up too late to watch the EPIC SUPERBOWL GAME! Patriots won, history was made and it was awesome! I am so glad I did stay up, that was some exciting football!!! I had a great weekend and back to the grind today. Its cold & snowy here and we are expecting a brutal storm tomorrow that will be snow & freezing rain and then rain on top of that, not looking forward to it at all!!
QOTD: Are you an introvert or extrovert? I would say that pre surgery I was an introvert, post surgery I am not 100% extrovert but for sure more extrovert than introvert. I can be at a party and mingle no problem, I can give a speech at the front of a room if I had to, I can go to a dinner party and not know people and introduce myself and have a great time, but that is post surgery where I have my confidence back, pre surgery I preferred to be the wall flower, just sit back and observe and not "stand out" if you know what I mean.

Idea for photo Friday, since its Valentines Day next week, what are your thoughts on doing a "Photo of Love" for photo Friday. It can be a pic of whatever it is you love: your spouse/kids/pets/parents/siblings/grand kids/your car/your fav high heels/fav dress/fav jewelry. What do you guys think?
Have an awesome day everyone! Be Fabulous

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
I didn'****ch the Super Bowl. I'm just not into football. I know, I know, I'm un-American!
QOTD: I am definitely an introvert. I can act extroverted when I need to be social, but I definitely renew my energy while being alone or with one or two close friends or family.
B: 1 bacon & spinach egg frittata
L: Jack Daniel's pulled chicken
D: Lettuce, chicken, cheese, cranberries & nuts, low cal dressing
S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good Morning!
Why must the weekends go by so fast?! It was a good one, nothing too exciting. We went to fantastic brunch for my cousins birthday; so many awesome protein choices. Even more amazing was my two kids and niece (ages 2, 7, and 8) were all very well behaved for almost 2 hours!
I must say - I loved loved loved Lady Gaga's halftime show for the Super Bowl! I wish I could dance like her. And what a comeback by the Patriots; I'm fairly certain ATL is still in shock...
QOTD: I think I am a "social introvert". No problems at social gatherings and work, however, I do sometimes have mild anxiety before social events. I definitely prefer smaller events/gatherings. While I am much more confident now, I still can't stand being the center of attention.

I'm worth it!
Good morning!
QOTD: I am not sure what I would classify myself as. I like to go and do all the time, but I do not like to stand out, and I am not very social with people I do not know. I have about 3 people that I really like to do things with and that is it!
Menu:
B: protein shake
S: P3
L: pulled pork 5.4oz, bbq chicken, and veggie casserole
D: ?? Still thinking about what I am going to cook; may stop and get a rotisserie chicken

Got my surgery date! They wanted me to go Monday but I just can't do that so ...it will be February 27th! :D
This would have been my first choice date anyway! Yay! Start 2 week liquid diet Monday!
Also got my hubby to talk to his cardiologist about pursuing bariatric surgery and he thought it was a good idea. So maybe he will be starting the process soon.

I have no voice left today, I haven't had but a couple of hours of sleep and I am still in tears that my team played the greatest game ever in football!! I love Tommy and the boys but today I am just overwhelmed at the feat they did!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!
I did do some cheating on my diet yesterday, I ate 4 extra wonton wrappers with Queso dip and had 2 sharp cheese and crackers that I didn't plan, but other than that I stuck to my menu.
I am extroverted I would say, I am and always have been a people person.

Good Morning. I only watched the overtime, but guess that was probably the most important part and boy was it good!! I think BEST team won. Far as QOTD: goes I'm probably still an introvert, but better than pre surgery! I at least now can carry on conversations with people where before surgery I would try my hardest to not be seen and not give any feed back to help conversations continue. I just wanted to not be seen :( Now I still don't want to "stand out" but I don't feel like I do for the wrong reasons either. I'm still working on voicing my opinions when I know others may disagree (such as about the football game). Seems funny but even little things like that I would not have DREAMED of doing before.
Yesterday's menu ended up looking like this: B: coffee L: southwestern flavored chicken strips D: Ham and pepper jack cheese
Superbowl UGH. We wanted anyone but the Patriots to win.
QOTD: Introvert for sure. Fat or skinny, I prefer to be in the background and get extremely uncomfortable with attention (unless it's from DH).
B: Decaf coffee w/ scoop of vanilla cream GNC protein
L: 3 oz. roast beef
S: 1/2 c. Green LnF yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1.5 T PB2
D: 3-4 oz. shrimp
E: Plan to get a 3 mi. walk in w/DH after work.

Good morning OH friends. I was just looking over my calendar for this week and it is currently quite quiet - isn't that how it goes? Last week I had a million meetings every day, next week - insane, why can't these things spread themselves out a little?!
QOTD: I'm an introvert who masquerades as an extrovert, by that I mean I need a lot of alone/down time, but when I need to I can turn on the charm. Public speaking and being the "face" of the library is my job, but on a regular basis I tell the Fella that I hate people, places, and things. My sister is my complete opposite - she wants to be with and around people 100% of the time - which makes me cringe. It's interesting to me that two people who have the same parents and were raised in the same way can be so different in many ways (and so similar in others LOL).
Time since surgery: 2 years + 10 months
B: coffee and baked egg with turkey sausage, what else?
S: Siggi's
L: cottage cheese and an apple with PB
S: string cheese (and I just realized I forgot my little bag of nuts - sad face)
D: turkey burger with cranberry goat cheese, thanks for the idea Daze!
S: popcorn? Halo Top? We'll see...
V/W: on track
E: I've decided on my non-gym days I'm going to get up 20 minutes early and do a quick work out at home. This morning I tried an inside walking video - it was supposed to equal a mile, but I either wasn't in step or that was a lie... but it was like 1250 steps before I even got in the shower, so it's better than nothing!
It's a gorgeous sunny day here and my mom is in town babysitting my nieces, I might have to cut out early...
