What's on Your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
I appreciate the reminders... that is why I am here everyday and weigh everyday...the constant need for re-evaluation, and when I do something stupid I see it...
Hoping the blue dress works, the price is right and navy looks really good on me...

Yep, she had a few suggestions... First, start cutting out the Fit Frape in the morning. Not enough bang for the buck at 18 months out, because it's not filling me like a real meal anymore. She wants me to have a very dense breakfast--like chicken.
Second, is to start snacking on raw veggies. She says I probably won't eat enough to impact carbs and they should give me more of a satiated feeling than snacking on cheese or nuts. Gotta say, she's not wrong. I feel more bloated and full after eating 6 carrots today, than I have in months. I'm not even interested in any of the crappy food we have lying around for the game tonight. Not sure how long the feeling will last...?
I hear ya getting caught up in the emotional crap about the scale! I was *****in and moanin about it last week as you know. Sometimes it helps to know that everyone goes through it.
Same thing you told me, stick to it and the scale will make you happy again. :)

Love that- scale is being rude... When you have a bad day you expect it... made a poor choice in the AM sort of, but my overall day worked... that is being rude :) LOL...
Really hoping the dresses work....

Good morning everyone! I'm feeling like it's a low motivation day today. Not a problem since I plan on visiting with friends for the game so I wasn't expecting to be too productive anyway.
QOTD Your question made me think of an ice cream place in Vancouver that I went to when visiting my family a couple years ago. It's this big open store with ice cream counters on every side and they have something like 500+ different flavours in their rotation and 200+ in the store at any given time. As you can imagine when you're coming up with that many flavours some of them stray pretty far from chocolate and vanilla. They allow you to try them and I sampled a few but there were some that I just couldn't even bring myself to ask for. I wish I could remember more of them but I do recall ones with shrimp, curry, blue cheese, wasabi, and of course bacon. There was at least one with insects too. Pass.
B- coffee w/ SF hazelnut
L- deli chicken and laughing cow
D- unknown, I'll be with friends and I imagine there will be something protein-y but I'll bring some turkey bites just in case
S- protein shake, tuna
Have a great Sunday everyone and go (insert team of your choice)!!

Christine
DH working again today (that's the problem of part-time jobs at the public library (he has two PT jobs - at two different public libraries - but still looking for full-time employment). As a part-timer, he gets stuck with evening and weekend shifts pretty much all the time. I hate to say anything because I know he's been really diligent about his job search, and also, he truly loves working at the libraries, but I'll be SO GLAD when he's not working almost every freaking evening and weekend!
Anyway, right now I am making yogurt - later on today I'm making pork loin roast. May run a couple errands. Exciting day. I was hoping to go to Aqua Zumba tonight, but my ankle is still slightly achy (not bad, though - I can walk normally - it's been 2 or 3 weeks now since I sprained it), but my exercise physiologist friend said it's probably better to wait until I have no pain before doing any exercises that involve a lot of jumping up and down - even if on the bottom of a pool. Sigh. I guess I could always swim laps....
JB: I do find some veggies pretty filling. Like cabbage. Or raw veggies like baby carrots (which I often eat with hummus). Paired with a dense protein, I'm set for quite awhile...
QOTD: as mentioned above, some of the exotic Lay's potato chip flavors sound absolutely disgusting.
20 months out:
B: Triple Zero vanilla yogurt, 1 T used Crio Bru grounds, 10 rasperries
S: coffee with half & half, double SF protein/fiber mocha latte
L: not sure - maybe a hard-boiled egg and some raw veggies with hummus
D: roasted pork loin with homemade cranberry sauce, Michigan salad
