Snack - Greek yogurt

Mock Spanish Rice?  Why are you mocking that poor rice... you will hurt their feelings. LOL What is this? Share your recipe if you would.  It sounds good.

1 Pound ground Turkey

1 pkgs Mrs Dash taco seasoning (no salt )

2 can no salt added tomato sauce

1 can Rotel Tomatoes

2 pkgs riced cauliflower (cooked in microwave)

Cook ground turkey add Mrs Dash following package directions - add tomato sauce and rotel, then add cooked riced cauliflower.

I get 5 servings out of it 190 calories a serving.  Pretty large servings -I have not had surgery yet.

Recipe totals:

950 calories

135 protein

100 carbs

6 fat

I think when making it after surgery I will only put one package of riced cauliflower, and one can of tomato sauce - higher protein per serving and lower carbs (not sure how many servings this I will be able to get out of it after surgery).

New recipe totals:

815 calories

120 protein

72  carbs

6 fat

Hi everyone,

Had an appointment with my center today and while I was praised for my weight loss and was told by the Dr. that almost none of his patients have had the success I've had with the sleeve he also told me that I was not eating nearly enough(even though I'm getting 80 to 100 grams of protein a day) Of course he also said that he wants me eating more carbs. He did say that I my labs showed I most definitely had great protein but my potassium was low. He's very concerned about that because of my heart condition and it could cause an arrhythmia . I need to call my cardiologist on Monday and he might have to put me on a potassium pill a couple times a week.

QOTD: I don't own a fit bit yet but have been thinking about it. I will never get the required steps due to my feet issues. Does it count swim strokes? LOL!

B: 2 eggs, 1 strip bacon, ultra thin slice of cheese

S: coffee with protein powder

L: 3oz of low sodium turkey

D: 2oz steamed mussels, 3oz pastrami, 1 tbs Russian dressing, 1/2 slice of ultra thin cheese

S: 2oz low sodium turkey

Your doing great Chris, the centers do love to push the carbs. Mine said the same to me in December. I just agreed to keep them happy. Keep up the great work.
