What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
My son doesn't have cable but the only "TV" they pay for is the MLB subscription service from the MLB website..so you can watch any and all games in the major league as well as whatever commentary shows they have...

Hello!
QOTD: Not a big football fan but usually will watch the Super Bowl. Of course last year we did watch a lot of football because the Panthers had such an awesome season and I live near Charlotte. This year...not so much! We usually do different dips (I like sausage, cream cheese and rotel dip). We will also have other pick-up foods.
Menu: I do appreciate everyone's input yesterday. I am going to start making some more changes. However, I will still have yogurt and P3 packs on my menu for a bit longer because I had already went grocery shopping and I am not in a position to waste food right now. But please know you have been heard and I do plan on changing things up!
B: Protein shake (this may stay because I do not like to eat early in the morning and it is convenient. )
S: Yogurt and P3 (see there it is)
L: Left over chicken fajita stuff (5oz chicken, onion, 2 oz black beans, cheese, sour cream) I had it over lettuce last night but ran out of lettuce.
S: babybel cheese
D: BBQ chicken and veggie casserole
E: already been to the gym will probably walk some more this evening
Hoping to hear a surgery date today or tomorrow! Fingers crossed
Have a great one!

sausage, cream cheese & rotel sounds yummy and that is totally WLS friendly, sorry I had to google "rotel" never heard of that before!
Yes eat what you have in your fridge/cupboards, don't throw anything out and in that same vein don't stock up on food for after surgery, a lot of us did and you end up wasting it, trust me, taste buds change! Its a good menu and I hope that helps with the afternoon/evening hunger, thanks for taking our advice!
FINGERS & TOES are crossed for a date on surgery, so excited for you!
I have so much protein powder I'm never going to use! I keep trying to remember to give it to my nurse friend who is often at the in-person support group meetings. They'll happily try it out!

Would you mind giving me the sausage, cream cheese, and ro-tel dip recipe? I'm not a big fan of queso, and I would love to have a recipe of something that is WLS friendly!!!
And the chicken fajita stuff, totally WLS friendly. I don't know why I haven't thought of that!!!!
