What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Drinking has not been a problem. 90oz in today. However, the eating plan is not going so well. I got my 1 oz breakfast in, and I actually had minimal symptoms. But then I started drinking and I forgot to eat my first snack. Lunch was the inners of a shredded beef taco. Same thing happened. Liquids but no food in. At this rate, I'll be VERY low in calories (for me.) I'm going to the gym tonight and I'll have to see if it impacts my workout. I'm going to try and modify this plan to see if I can get more food in because the very very small meals really have minimized my symptoms.

Good morning menu gods and goddesses. I am late posting today because, well you know, work. Booooo! I don't know about angry eating. I am more of a bored, mindless eater. I really have to watch that. Angry eating sounds more fun.
QOTD: Sorry Boston peeps, but my team is any team that is playing against the Pats. Are you deflated by my dislike of your team? See what I did there? Deflated?! Ha!
i am going to a Super Bowl party at a friend's house. I am bringing cole slaw, but there will be ham, so I am set. Last year the girls took a long walk during the game. This year the weather is supposed to be crappy, so likely no walk. I do need a mani/pedi, so I might do that in the morning before the party.

I saw what you did there and I loved it!
Your menu has been extra awesome lately! And your numbers rock, keep up the awesome work girl!
Hi hi!
I FINALLY BROKE MY STALL... at least I think I did haha.
QOTD: not super into sports, never really got into them and I think it largely has to do with the fact that I was always over weight and too self conscious to ever join in. That being said, I am not huge on super bowl BUT my family always has a party and there's ALWAYS TONS OF FOOD. This year I'll be working so I won't have to anticipate the temptation- HALLELUJAH! I am a little bummed that I'll miss out on seeing everyone together though.
B: premier protein shake
L: iced premier protein shake WITH A COUPLE SHOTS OF ESSPRESSO for a mid-day pick me up :-)
S: light and fit Greek yogurt (just the top part, not the fruity bottom. Going to try and eat around that if I can.
D: royal Thai tofu. Cauliflower "rice" if there's room
I've been craving dill pickles sooooo bad. Anyone have thoughts on those as a snack?
Time since surgery: two months this coming Wednesday!
Broke down the other day and "angry ate" so I just want to share this quote with anyone who is also having post "cheat shame"... 'it is not about how we fall down, it's about how we get ourselves back up that makes us who we are'
Go forth and have an amazing day, friends!

I think dill pickles are fine, and I know a lot of people do a dill pickle "Roll up", take some deli meat, a slice of cheese and a dill pickle spear and roll it up. One of my fav ideas is slice of roast beef, mustard, swiss cheese and a dill pickle rolled together, yummy!
I find a lot of stuff we eat post op is sweet so I often crave the salty tangy stuff and dill pickle**** the spot. Since you are 2 months post op, try the dill pickle at home, have just bite, chew really well and wait a bit and see how your pouch likes it, and if you are good then enjoy!
Congrats on breaking your stall!!! yahoo!

Menu looks awesome Chris, and yay for one pound down! Love your dinner idea, I make that a lot and I love it, one of my go to favs because a pound or two of ground beef last so long and it freezes great if you get sick of it and need a break.
Great stats, 8 carbs is awesome! You will see the scale move again soon, trust me!
Oh and a lot of our menu posters put vanilla premier protein in their coffee as "creamer" not sure if you would like to try that?
