This (link here) is the first one I have tried.  I really like it because to me it tastes pretty much the same as the regular-ole-got-it-for-my-kiddos-nothing-fancy jelly I have come to love from Smucker's.  Comfort food I guess but not as bad for me.

I use this one too. It's pretty good. I put it in plain greek yogurt.

We always do something for Superbowl. My husbands brother almost always has a party but this year we are going to my best friends house. My husband is roasting a whole pig! I can't wait! I like to watch football but I don't really have much of a preference out of the 2 teams playing. If I have to pick I will go with Atlanta Falcons. I'm tired of the Pats and Tom Brady lol.

B - Coffee with creamer, Unjury chicken soup protein

L - Salmon with beet medley

S - string cheese

D - boiled shrimp & celery w/blue cheese dip

I'm still stuck in a stall. It's been about 20 days give or take. I know it's not maintenance because I stay around 800 calories. There's no way that would maintain me at 200ish lbs. I've tried everything food wise like lowing calories, upping my calories, eliminated all carbs, etc. This week I started exercising again so I hope to see some changes soon!!

Hang in there! Stalls are the worst! I've been stalled for only a week or so, and it's driving me batty! (and being this close to goal, I'm kinda scared too... oh please scale gods... good point though, I took measurements, and my thighs went down almost 1/2", check your measurements!)

Hang in there...I'm going through the same deal. The scale goes up a few lbs and it goes down a few lbs. Very frustrating.

Late post for me!!!

QOTD: I'm from GA so New England can go suck it... LOL - I actually am not a big football fan but my Atlanta peeps need to pull this out. It is really quite amazing they have gotten this far and quite unusual. I hace no plans for Sunday at the moment but there will probably be burgers or chili or something. DH and I have no plans at this moment. I do want to see Lady gags sing since she can ACTUALLY sing and has talent. Luke bryan and I went to the same college together so will watch that also. he is a couple years older than I am and I didn't know him.

Saturday will be a whirlwind of activity for me: Dog show, Ikea, clothes shopping (they are free from a family member who almost exclusively wears vintage so I'm suuuuper excited), Trader joe, and aldi rounding out the shopping on the way home from ATL.

yesterday did pretty well. Made DH that chocolate pudding recipe that the IP facebook page posted last night. Mine has bittersweet dark choc, and melted buckeyes in it for him (that he bought at the amish store and didn't eat all of). also made a chicken/cajun sausage meal last night in IP. DH had his over rice and mine over cauliflower so- leftovers today. I actually CAN'T believe he ate it because it had peppers, celery in it and he didn't even notice. also made a crapload of veggies so they would not spoil (spinach, broc)

Calories were about 800 yesterday

Menu today in no particular order:

2 egg whites, spinach, 2 protein waffles, coffee, leftover cajun chicken, tuna likely, maybe 1/4 quest bar  depending, yogurt?

Morning my menu family!

So many posts, so little time! I've skipped down to the bottom, and I'll come back and read throughout the day!

QOTD: Usually I like to have a party. I love any reason for a get together with friends, but this weekend, DH is travelling to Tulsa to teach some class. So he'll be getting back that afternoon, and we decided to go low key this year - BUT, I did invite a couple of friends, and I'm sure my daughter will invite her boyfriend if he doesn't have plans... so it's a small gathering! I LOVE NFL football, but I'm a... STEELER'S FAN, BABY!!! (and while I love you folks that are Pats fans, it hurts my heart-ahem ego- to watch your team yet another year! Since I lived in Atlanta for 15 years, I'll be rooting for the Underdog this year!

But really, it's mostly about the commercials this year... and food. I am making some wings, and just decided I'm making that sausage dip that someone posted earlier (and I can't remember who! Ack!)... and I MIGHT try out that Fathead Pizza recipe... that really intrigued me! Everything I make for Superbowl Sunday will be low carb... I know that doesn't mean I get a free pass to shovel it all in my face, but I figure that also reduces the risks of me piling something I don't need into my mouth too.

I have been struggling with being happy with my food lately. My old ghost that used to demand more than one thing on the plate is returning. For some reason I'm not feeling satisfied after eating, say just a pile of ham for lunch... my ghost wants some pork rinds, and hey, throw in some of those cashews sitting in your desk. There, that's better and now it looks like a meal! (ftr, I threw away the tiny bit of cashews that were left, I think not having snack foods is a better option for me, even the beef jerky doesn't feel like a safe option right now). WTF... why can't I just feel happy with a pile of ham/bacon/steak??? Sigh.

Proposed meal plan:

B: decaf with half and half and SF syrup x 2

B2: pile of said ham (2.7oz)

L: either the curried chicken I have portioned out, or the BBQ'd chicken I have portioned out...

S: I brought an extra protein today so that if I get antsy about snacking, I have that

D: Making Hungarian Paprikash - I will avoid eating the homemade dumplings... the rest of it is just low carb yumminess!

S: Decaf latte with Fairlife and SF syrup
