Good morning DD2, Menu Fam, and extended welcome to Menu Newbies!
I've missed you all! I've been MIA because things are all sorts of crazy, as the new job is great but has little to no down time, AND we decided to put our house on the market and put a contingent contract on a new home. Between that, freelance sidejobs and looking fter my little one, its been a little stressful and crazy. I promise to try to be around more though.
Tuesday was my birthday (Big 4-0), and its restaurant week so some coworkers and I went to a place called FIN and had an amazing fancy lunch! I had she crab soup as a starter and then oysters with a side of truffle roasted cauliflower. It was all so divine! THis past weekend my cousin hosted a belated secret santa exchange with all our cousins from my generation, and combined the celebration to include chinese new year and my birthday! it was great. I'll post photos of that for photo friday tomorrow!
QOTD: I havent been to a superbowl event in a while, and I've never hosted. I've attended in the past, and lots of the time it falls on my birthday.
