Congrats Maddy on your 50 lbs lost! YAHOO! It is hard for our heads/minds to catch up to how fast the weight is coming off. It takes time. Good job on 6 totes of clothes, how awesome is that! Yes the mind body connection early out was a struggle for me, I still see a fat girl in the mirror and a fat girl in my mind and I am 3 yrs out, it takes time or maybe it never goes away? Good luck though, you are not alone!@
YUP on the head hunger is real! Glad you were able to combat it with lots of hot tea, great job!
Awesome menu, you have like almost non existent carbs! AMAW baby! Keep up the awesome work!

Morning everyone!
I am mostly a boredom eater but a very specific one - I feel like I have to eat/snack while in the car. I don't even understand why it is so gratifying to me because (1) what really tastes good from fast food joints or gas stations and (2) I am pretty anal about my car being spotless and crumb-free. But it has been a big problem for me for over 20 years now that I work on every.single.day. The hour commute each way to work doesn't help either.
QOTD: I LOVE football...and basketball...and baseball....and, well you get the picture. I'm not overly excited about the game this Sunday though because one my team's (go Panthers!) biggest rivals are in it and we aren't. Just a little jealous! I will spend gametime with my neighbors and I think we are talking about doing tacos.
Today's menu:
B: Premier shake
L: Work lunch - requested baked/broiled fish so hopefully that is what is in the box
D: Boiled shrimp
S: homemade greek yogurt
Have a great day!
Whenever I took a drive that was at least a couple of hours, I brought more food and drinks than the Donner Party.

Eating in the car was actually one of the big realizations I made when i started logging my food consistently pre-op. I still don't know whats up with it either... I know mine escalated when I was self employed and spent big chunks of my day in the car, and missing regular meals, but it's been a thing for a lot longer than that!
Now, i'm able to curb it, but like you said, it's literally something I have to consciously choose every time I know i'm in the car more than 30 minutes. So strange.

Welcome PaperCuts!
Snacking and eating my in my car make me think of road trips! Ah I love road trips!
You work 7 days a week? I hope you get paid really well and get some good vacation time! I hear you on commuting, I used to drive but could not take the stress, now I ride a commuter train, no stress but a long commute, trade off I guess!
You have got all the reasons covered with loving all those sports! YES to tacos, one of my fav foods of all time!
Good menu!
