Hi Menu Crew! How are all my friends today? For all the newbies on the board please know that you are not an outsider b/c a lot of us have developed friendships on here and have been posting longer, it does not mean we don't welcome you and we want you to post along with us. And for anyone lurking *****ads all the time you are welcome too. We do have a lot of regular menu posters who want to meet you and support you and answer your questions, give you menu feedback and we welcome everyone to our "Menu Crew" (I know b/c you all told me yesterday in PMs), so thanks gang for all the love & positive support, don't know what I would do without you all!!
QOTD: Super Bowl Sunday! Do we have some die hard fans here? Who is having a party and can I come? ha ha ha Do you host or go to someone else's house or to a sports bar? Do you do the tailgating thing? What is your go to dish you will make or bring? And the big question, who is your team? NFL Football is not as big here in Canada as it is for you all but I do really enjoy football and watch it often with hubby. We will most likely watch but its just a regular Sunday for us. I am planning on making crock pot chili this weekend so will eat that and watch. And I have always liked the Patriots so go Tom & Rob!!
Oh Accountability: apparently I "pissed off eat" meaning some people "stress eat" or "boredom eat", I eat when I am pissed off. So last night there was 4 small almond cookies, one Portuguese custard tart, and about 4 handfuls of Cool Ranch Doritos that was inhaled last night. So ya eating off plan while pissed off is a "thing" I guess! Note to self - WORK ON THAT! lol

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Good morning Daisy and everyone! I'm up early as usual on the day before we leave for our drive to Florida.
QOTD: PATRIOTS all the way of course since we live in Massachusetts. We've been lucky to have them in the Super Bowl a lot! We have gone to parties a lot of years, but also stayed home to watch. The problem with parties is that I can't stay up late the night before I work, so unless I have that Monday off I never see the end of the game. This year we arrive at our friends in Florida just before the game so I have no idea what we will be doing. I do have Monday off, so maybe I'll see the whole game. Go Patriots!
I am mostly a bored eater and a stress eater when it is medium stress (like work stress or kids acting out stress). Really big stress like a family member with serious illness or missing dog makes me feel sick so I don't eat then. BUT the boredom and normal stress were always enough in the past to get my weight up over 100 pounds. My coping mechanism now is lots of small meals so I can resist the urge (hopefully).
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese, English muffin with peanut butter
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: DS is making some kind of chicken
S: Almonds, nut thins and hummus, protein bar or chips

Hi all. Woke up feeling really weird. Am I sick? I was actually dizzy while lying in bed. Up now and still dizzy. I'm taking a slow start and going in late.
QOTD: I am really more into the Puppy Bowl...I mean I have to root for the Pats because I think it's illegal not to in Boston. But really I'm excited for the puppies (and kitten 1/2 time show!!). Oh and commercials. I bet they are going to be intense this year.
I'm not hungry at all. But I have barely eaten anything in the last few days so I really need to get my protein back up. Maybe that's why I feel so crappy. Here's my plan:
18 months post op, 117lbs today.
B: Fit Frappe Protein Coffee
S: Crunchy cheese bites
L: Turkey breast
D: ?? (Meat, tbd)

Sickness is going around like wild fire, my boss was off yesterday and today with the exact same thing you are saying. Feel better, hope its not anything!
Yes the puppy/kitten bowl and the commercials, you are right, it will be interesting!!
Feel better at least drink a bunch of protein coffees today!
Yeah, I watch the game but often like the commercials or halftime more!

I've found over the past few years, the morning news shows "leak" the commercials so that part of the game gets ruined. This year my home town team, The Patriots are playing, so that makes everything OK!!
