Loved seeing pics of your bike ride on FB.  You looked super fit :) Good job!

Not quite sure how 'fit' I am just yet... there were many F-bombs dropped along the way, and one strategically placed "Oh for F&ck's Sake!" directed at DH when he went off the path and created more peddling for me because like a dummy I followed him!

But maybe by the end of the summer I will have this cycling down...

Yay for the bike ride...are we FB friends? I didn't see the pics...

Love this:

You're all my encyclopedias of WLS. I feel like it gives me a huge advantage out there in the scary cruel world of cupcakes and cookies.

Good Morning everyone. Almost halfway through the work week - YAY! I am in desperate need of some downtime and hopefully Super Bowl weekend will provide some of that.

QOTD: As I mentioned yesterday, I am a revision. I could start a whole thread on what not to do so I know that I need that extra "help"...read as kick in the ass....from this group when I make poor decisions. I was sleeved in early 2012 in Mexico; insurance at that time did not cover bariatric surgeries. Never got to goal and started experiencing quite a bit of regain last year. Finally decided to make a decision to see a local bariatric surgeon and nutritionist for advice. The endoscopy found that my sleeve wasn't quite right - I will just leave it at that because I will mess up the explanation when I start using the medical terminology. HOWEVER, I also take a big percentage of the blame on myself because I know I started not following the plan that had gotten me to a healthier weight. Don't ever get to the point where you avoid the scale because you are scared of the number it will say!!! Anyway, revision to gastric bypass on Nov 11th of this past year. I have since lost 65 lbs with about 55 more to go - really need to set up my tracker. I know for a fact that it gets VERY difficult after that first year post op. As much as this thread is an accountability to not overeat or make poor decisions on what I eat, I also need the reminder to actually eat. I'm an engineer at a paper mill and my days are usually very long (12-14 hours) and pretty physical. Most days my breakfast and lunch sits untouched in my lunch bag so I end up just trying to down some premier shakes at night to get some protein in. Not a very sustainable method! Hopefully seeing some of the delicious sounding things you guys put on your menu will inspire me to cook and be so excited about eating that I make time during the day for my health!

My uninspiring menu for today:

B: 1.5 oz of Canadian bacon

S: Premier protein shake

L: 1/2 cup homemade Greek yogurt; 1 oz chicken breast

S: 1/2 Chomps meat stick

D: 2.5 oz boiled shrimp

V: Patches on

W: On track

Have a great day!

Glad you are here! and losing the weight... Making a decision for revision must be hard... can't imagine going through the process twice- especially mentally...

Morning gang!  The saga of no fridge continues.  I decided it was going to cost more to eat out than to simply throw away anything we couldn't finish and I made an Instant Pot meal for dinner.  It was yummy and I brought the left overs to work this morning to share with co-workers.  The cooler with ice is working pretty well.  They say they will have the fridge fixed Friday...we shall see!

QOTD: I come here because my life depends on it.  I know...drama!  But it is true.  This is the only support group I really have and this is where I find information, advise, and comfort in shared journeys. I am a very social creature and without the connection I have with all of you I would have lost my way. Being accountable to you guys gives me a sense of safety and support that I can't even describe. My Guy is great, I have some in person friends who are supportive, my kids are awesome...but you all KNOW. You get it. That is golden.

Menu: B: Chobani Simply 100 Crunch; L: Left over Goulash; D: Not sure...going to the store for ice and ideas; S: Apple

Accountability: I was told by the heart doctor's nurse to hold off on the Chantix.  They want to raise the dose AGAIN on the new heart med that is making me dazed and forgetful. Uhg. I am glad that I am able to have the med...a working heart is nice...but I am really getting tired of being dazed and confused all the time. I need to wait at least 2 more weeks to start the Chantix.  I am going to try to keep cutting back on smoking but I am not 100% in yet. Feb 15 is the new start date.

I weighed 122.2 this morning so up from my loss this weekend.  I can tell you why I got back up to 122 though and expect to drop again once I have some potty time today. I had an orange PROBLEM last night.  Like...OMG...what the actual hell??? My Guy and I were watching TV (trigger) and there was a gallon size bag of Mandarin oranges that "were going to go bad" due to the fridge situation. So...orange snack...cool.  NOT COOL! He and I ate all but two of those oranges!!!! It was a million oranges.  Honestly I have no idea how many I ate and how many he ate.  I was a peeling machine. They were so good! I spent the rest of the night feeling like I was having a heart attack.  Shaky, sweaty, miserable. Is that what RH feels like?  I didn't end up in the potty but felt awful and then fell asleep. Uhg. So many oranges. I dreampt about them chasing me. LOL

Have a great day!

Yup. Welcome to RH. For me, the further I got from surgery, the smaller the amount of food it takes to trigger it. That's probably a good thing.

Damn mandarins . . . we gotta put up a wall to keep them out.

That describes it for me too. And I too am more sensitive now than I was a year ago. 2 years ago I could eat 1/2 banana with peanut butter and be fine. Now--not so much. No more bananas for this girl.
