Woah
LOL, I know that feeling! I swear I had several bags of clothes in my bedroom at any given time for months! Now, it's only 1 bag at a time, as I just don't have that much, because it's all second hand from thrift stores!
I'm actually kind of am looking forward to finding my new size and starting to refill my closet!
Enjoy it! It's so much fun constantly going through all those clothes!

Yes I just cleaned my closet and donated everything. The only thing I own is my new winter clothes. But look out spring, I'm going shopping I need everything. Funny how everything changes so fast, even underwear and bra's. Every month I need to buy smaller sizes. Fortunately I found a great consignment shop near me. Even my feet are smaller. But I'm loving it....

This was actually a fairly emotional step for me. I'd worked hard to build a plus size wardrobe I felt confident in-- and it was hard to let go of pieces that I knew made me feel good to an unknown fate. I packed them away- but it took me a while to get rid of them.

Currently feeling the same way... Surgery in 2 weeks for me.
I am a bit sad of letting go of the clothes I spent a long time finding. I know that's a bit weird... Eventually my wardrobe will be great again, I know, it's just a weird part of the transition.

Isn't this a fun NSV!? I literally had nothing to give away, I did not have a wardrobe, just 3 cotton dresses I wore to work with a sweater day after day for years. I even gardened in those dreadful things - but I did not fee like I deserved anything better, or more clothing, I just washed and wore them again. But it's different these days! I tossed those old rags pretty quickly as the first months rolled that weight right off. I didn't buy much but it was all new or gently used and now I have so much to wear! All so pretty or cute. And...EVEN... JEANS!! I never ever wore pants, now I have 3 pairs of actual denim jeans, can you believe it! :)
It's one of the more fun things I've ever experienced in my 61 years!!
I always used to save my "fat" clothes when on a diet, so I'd have clothes when my weight went up again (and it always did). After WLS, I dumped (donated) all my big clothes so I couldn't go back to them. It was part of the commitment I made to myself to get to a healthy weight and stay there.
BTW, I bought a lot of my current clothes from ThredUp.com. You can sell to them as well, though I choose to donate.
