Not sure what the hell is going on with scale lately, up 1.5 lbs from yesterday! I gonna just keep sticking to plan and hopefully it will start moving again!

Good afternoon menu crew.
The kids are on exams this week so we've been playing chauffeur a lot. Today was the last day and they are off for the rest of the week. New semester starts Monday. Our youngest is in middle school- grade 7 so no exams for him. He has school tomorrow and Thursday but is off Friday.
Daisy is right! It is COLD here. Glad I don't have anywhere to go for the rest of the day. I bought a pair of fleece lined leggings yesterday. They are size 1x/2x and I know they wouldn't have fit before surgery. Wearing them today and they are so cozy. I think I need to go get another pair. I bought them at a warehouse place for $10. They also had a bunch of name brand shoes for good prices so I think I will take our youngest there on Friday as he needs new shoes.
QOTD: With being off work, I've been watching a ton of Netflix and CraveTV. DH and I started watching Bones and we are hooked. I'm also watching Scandal and Person of Interest. Next week, starting Monday when everyone is back to a normal routine I'm going to start using the treadmill at the gym. Eventually, I will start doing other stuff but the treadmill to start.

The weight situation is annoying. Up to 266.1 from 265.9 yesterday - which bothers me more than the 265.4 to 265.9 from the day before. Lol. Trying to keep perspective. It will come. It will come.

Good morning Daisy and menu buddies. Cool and cloudy here, but the temp is supposed to drop tomorrow evening, with the threat of snow and ice the rest of the week. Is it Spring yet?
Sous Vide Day 2: I did not make the Starbucks Egg Bites last night because I forgot to get cottage cheese, which is sad since I went to the store specifically for cottage cheese. Geesh! Instead I made a pork tenderloin, and it was delicious! Tender and juicy. I will do the egg bites tonight if my Alzheimer's doesn't set in again.
QOTD: I just finished watching the Colony. Meh! I also just finished The Crown. So good! I need to finish up Making A Murderer. I am about 1/2 way through. I love Netflix, especially since the integrated it with Comcast Cable. So easy to watch now.
I have been struggling with holiday weight gain, and I got on the scale this morning and it was all gone. Weird, but I will not look a gift loss in my he mouth (scale?). Maintenance is wacky.

I seriously almost texted you last night to ask about the egg bites. Hearing that they are amazing will probably put me over the edge and make me hit "buy" in my cart.
Ok, here is something sad. I told myself that I was only allowed to watch The Crown if I was on the elliptical. I have watched...one episode. I loved it, but clearly not enough to get my ass back on that thing. Lol.
Yep, cottage cheese. Weird, right. That is what makes them creamy. I made the egg white ones last night. The veggies floated to the top, so the looked different, but still tasted the same. Delicious! I think next time I will toss them with the rice starch and see if that keeps the veggies incorporated.

Hello Menu Friends... Had a rough morning with foamies. I took my meds first thing this morning, as usual, but I think my pouch was not receptive. Coffee went down okay, but when I tried to drink my protein drink an hour later, it felt like it just sat in my esophagus. I finally just upchucked... ANY SUGGESTIONS???
QOTD: I'm not a big netflix person...my kids love it. I am a fanatic about This is US right now.

Try taking the morning vitamins and meds after having some yogurt or about 1/2 of your protein shake, first. I found that they gnawed away at my stomach and created acid, which sounds like what you dealt with. Sorry, foamies suck... :(
