I am a little embarrassed to admit that I have had my troubles following what's going on in The Main in the High Castle.  Haven't started watching the second season yet.

QOTD: While not Netflix per se, I did this week start to catch up on the new season of My 600-lb life.... first episode I watched she was a whiny train wreck, and felt so bad for her teenage son .... The official 3rd episode - which I remember the name, because her name was Cynthia LOL... I thought - Wow, here is somebody who has a life and isn't totally incapacitated, self aware.... trying to do right by her kids etc... then at the end she disses Dr. N because she thinks she doesn't need therapy. SMH. Dr. N is getting tough...or at least they are showing it, basically threatening to stop treatment if they don't get therapy.

On my way back to the Doc in a few minutes... 2 weeks, done with antibiotic and my ears are still clogged... ugh So going for a re-check...

Made meatballs in the Instant Pot last night, came out pretty good considering the meat was very lean.

FYI- FitJoy Bars on sale at Vitamin SHop this month, Buy One get One for 50% off.

B: Coffee with fairlife and miralax, eggs

S: Protein drink TBD

L: TJ roast turkey and LF Swiss

S: Pork Loin

D: Steak w/mushrooms and onions

S: greek yogurt, chai latte

EX: 21-day-fix modified and Done!

Edit to add: Yes Post-op life is hard! My girlfriend had the sleeve last March, and I get jealous that she can still eat so little... this is in no way 'the easy way out'... No regrets though... Being on here, weighing daily,  and a healthy fear of regain keeps me in check...

I really liked Cynthia -- I was so disappointed in her at the end.  :-(

Have you watched the twins, yet.  I adored them -- be prepared to cry.

I honestly believed I didn't have a good addiction. I thought my only problem with food was portion control, and for me that is definitely how it manifested itself. But I read an article- maybe in here and it mentioned that as a symptom of food addiction so I am accepting that and working my way through it. Just that one step took a long time though.

Ugh. I'm so glad yesterday is over. I really need to refrain from FB for a while... yesterday it sent me into a tailspin of worry, anger, and fear... (OK, so I sound melodramatic... but yesterday I felt it too)... I ended up having a real Irish coffee last night... then multiple handfuls of this Smartpop white cheddar popcorn that has sat, unopened in our cabinet since November! I found out that popcorn can go down endlessly... there is no restriction, only yummy goodness crossing my lips. Horrible. That **** is going in the trash today if it's not gone by the time I get home!

QOTD: We don't have Netflix. DH works for DirectTV Corporate, and we get every.single.stupid.channel available (OK, so not all of them are stupid)... I can't even keep up with that, let alone have another outlet for TV... we watch the regular network channels the most, and I love This Is Us right now... I'm about 6 episodes behind on Grey's Anatomy... and we have multiple CSI's recorded (I think the New Orleans one is my favorite)... then DH watches (and me by default) multiple other cop/law shows. We finally started watching Designated Survivor on Sunday... we are about 3 episodes into it... it makes the hair on my neck stand up...  If left to my own devices, the TV would be on HGTV and the Food channels 90% of the time, because I can do other things while I watch it mindlessly. I rarely watch movies, even though we have them all available... I just can't sit there that long very often.

B: Coffee with SF syrup and half and half and Wendy's Chili (don't judge)

S: beef jerky

L: leftover meatloaf (turkey meatloaf, low carb)

D: Leftover chicken legs and probably fried cabbage

S: Gonna try out my Crio Bru tonight! and possibly an Atkins snack bar thingy we have in there... I'm feeling a need for chocolate tonight... my TV will NOT be on any network channel tonight...

I like HGTV and food shows, too!  We don't have cable, so I either watch them on NetFlix or when we're over at my mom's...

It's 45 here today in Illinois but is supposed to cool down and snow by the weekend.Lily and I got our 3.2 mile walk in at 630 this morning. I don't really watch much Netflix or TV for that matter. About the only thing I watch faithfully is The Voice when it's on and America 'S Got Talent. Daisy you are so right about maintenence being so hard. When you are seeing numbers going down on the scale and people are commenting and you don't really get hungry and fill up quickly, good choices are easy. They bring amazing results. When you've reached and surpassed your goal weight and have been there years it becomes a struggle with every choice. It's so easy to start with just one little piece of cake or a small bowl of not too bad for me Halo Top ice cream and then the next thing you know it's a bigger bowl of the real thing. That's why I've never started on the fake sweet treats because I know sweets are a big trigger for me and I just can't go there. The only processed food that I eat like that is a rather tasteless protein bar before bed because it keeps my blood sugar stable til morning and settles better than meat before bed. I purposely chose one that's not too tasty so it really doesn't seem like a treat. That's weird I know, but it's what works for me. We each have a different journey, different struggles and different foods that trigger us to eat more,so we each have to find our own way. But isn't it great that we have a place like OH to bounce ideas and struggles off others who care and *****ally get it?! Okay stepping off the soapbox now. Post op 4 years 5 months and weight in my perfect spot at 117.2 today. Another day of no extra bites so going well there too. Here's today food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz of elk cheese steak meat with 1/2 c grilled onions and peppers D 31/2 oz t bone steak 1/2 c chopped tomatoes S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar.  Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goals!  You're worth it!
