What;s on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
I've written one bad Yelp review in my life. Before surgery, I was at Panera for lunch and ordered the Turkey sandwich without onions (I'm just not a fan of raw onions). The guy taking my order asked me if the onion thing was "an allergy or a preference." Being the honest soul I am, I said "preference." Of course, I could smell the onions before the plate hit the table and I swear my sandwich came with extra onions. I have no facts to back this up, but I'm sure it happened because of my size at the time. I think people feel its generally acceptable to be nasty to fat people. I wasn't obnoxious about the request, just politely asked that the onions be left off. There's no way to confuse "no onions, please" with "extra onions, please" and his question about allergy or preference makes me think he did it purposefully. They got a bad Yelp review out of that.
I literally went to TJ's over my lunch time (I like to eat at my desk while working and then run errands or whatever for my "break" to make myself leave my office) to procure that Cheese crunchy things - I want them in my mouth right now! I think I'll switch my afternoon snack to these! Although I wish the serving size was the whole bag (and by that I don't mean bigger, I just mean that I wish I didn't have to determine what was half the bag - give me a specific number or something people!).

Hi all,
Ran errands Saturday including picking up groceries, etc. Sunday stayed in all day and did chores around the house.
Scale still hates me so I'm going to have to hunker down so I can lose a few more pounds here in the next few months. Not sure if I am building muscle with the yoga or the anesthesia from eNDO last week but maybe I am and my body doesn't want to give up the pounds. I don't know... Frustrated, drinking tons of fluids and trying to stay under calorie limit, and stopped eating more 'slider/sweet foods at night' (instead eating lean prot)
QOTD: yes, I provide feedback on crappy as well as great service. I fill out surveys and talk to managers when needed. I can say I used to be the person that would not make a peep about it, but guess what, it is MY MONEY and if I'm going to spend it I require good service. haha Not sure if there are underlying control issues there but lets not talk about that today.
I will come back with menu, but I have chicken, ham, lunch meat, radishes, spinach, romaine, cauliflower, ribs to eat so that will probably fill out my menu. I may also have my yogurt today with some hemp/chia or psyllium husks in it.

When I hit my first goal of 123 and told my doc that I wanted to get down to 114, she told me it might take a year! I did it in a few months, but I had to really white-knuckle it. Those last few pounds are killers. I think the only way to do it is to reduce the calories waaaaaay down for a sustained period. So much harder to do at this stage that it was in the first few months. I know you will do it, though!

Uh, I am pretty sure that if you scrolled back a year in posts, you'd see me complaining too. It's so frustrating to be so close! But you are right...in the end the number doesn't count as much as the fitness :)
Did you see the post on the main board about floppy insides? I thought of you when I read egg faces response. I wonder if it's something to consider with your mystery pain?
