Sending love & prayers for Duchess that she is back to her best health soon.
I am so jealous you have a place in FL, so jealous! Safe travels!!!
I have to say that since doing the meat week and I have pretty much continued with it, I am losing weight like crazy again! I lost like 3 pounds during meat week and I have lost another 5 pounds this week!! I had been on a stall so I am so motivated again!!
My husband and I owned a Diner for quite a few years so I always liked getting compliments and complaints so I knew what to keep doing and what needed improvement, so I do the same at eating establishments also!

I always found after a stall, I lost weight quick... it was like the body released all the weight from the stalled weeks at once. Yay for AMAW. Glad it broke your stall...

I am so happy that you said that, NYMom! I am currently in a stall and am very willing to drop all the weight that I haven't been dropping quickly! LOLOL

Morning!
we had a good weekend. Ended up being more productive than I planned. My husband holds on to a lot of things. And I've been after him on occasion to start letting things go (we're talking over the last 5 years...) all of a sudden he is on a purging spree, so I spent Sunday hauling boxes, posting things on kijiji etc.
Basement is a disaster right now but we're making headway!
qotd: it depends. I've worked in the food industry, so I know feedback is valued, often I can see what the problem is pretty quick. Sometimes it's not worth mentioning. Ive only ever had one really bad experience with a server, and I did tell him I wouldn't be tipping when we were paying and why. I felt like a monster though haha. I do send food back, but again that's rare. Weirdly, it happens to my husband a lot! Poor guy is very much a don't rock the boat kind of guyhaha. If it's something he likes, he'll keep it.
Menu:
B Premiere protein shake
L: canned Tuna with mayo and peppers
D: I think I might make a chicken curry on cauliflower rice.
S: Greek yogurt with bran buds, jalapeño cheddar with hummus if needed.
have a great day everyone!

Can I come over for dinner? How do you make your chicken curry... there are so many ways...
Love purging sprees! You feel so accomplished afterwards.

I know! It's so liberating! I've been trying to explain that feeling to my husband, but I'm still not sure he gets it haha. I think he's a bit like his mom, where he still sees the dollar value on what the item was. Whereas I see the value in the space it occupied.
My typical curry is nothing fancy, it's a basic Thai red curry:
saute sliced onions with ginger and garlic;
throw in a few big spoonfuls of red curry paste, then coconut milk and a squirt of fish sauce. Sometimes a bit of chili sauce for bite.
Sometimes I brown the chicken first, other times just toss it all in cubed with the coconut milk to simmer. And I throw in whatever veg I've got kicking around. Today will be thinly sliced red pepper, some mushrooms, and I think the last of the green beans from my sisters garden.
