Oh it is so, so much better.  Perfectly cooked.  Tender and juicy. Delicious. I did a quick sear on it before eating (and added a dollop of truffle butter). After the egg bites, chicken breast is up next.

Hit that Amazon cart button!

Good morning!!! It was such a nice beautiful weekend, a perfect mix of accomplishment and relaxation. I love reading everyone's posts and menu. I get great ideas and reminders daily of how to enjoy life and stay on track. Thank you everyone!!

Having bathroom issue lately. Usually benefiber works for me, but I have kicked it up to miralax for the next few days. Does anyone have a squatty potty? I just bought one and was wondering what ya'll  thought of them.

QOTD - I was a server in my 20's. I know how tough it can be and also what it takes to be a great server. There are so many things beyond their control that often effect their tip, which I think is unfair. I've never had a horrible server, just a busy one and I get it. If the food isn't right, I will sent it back, graciously - **** happens. They always make it right and then I'm happy. No biggie. I refuse to short tip anyone, in fact I always tip very well.

10 weeks since surgery

B-coffee, half and half and SF hazelnut syrup

S-chomps meat stick about a 1/3 - first time trying these - not sure it is sitting well with me....

L-light string cheese and turkey rolls ups

D-crab cakes w/tartar sauce

V/L - good so far

E- walking the dogs tonight

Good morning.  I can tell it's monday  My day did not start out the best.  It inexplicably took me an hour to get to work.  6 miles.  I could have run it faster.  Grrr.  I also left my 30oz water cup at home.  So, if I'm going to get in all my water, I'm going to spend a long time in the kitchen.  Sigh.  I'm busy and one of my coworkers wants to go take a hot yoga class at lunch so I'm hoping it will make the day fly by!  I received my first order from PatchMD and planned to start today, but then I remembered about yoga and though sweat might interfere.  So, today will be my last day of vitamins in pill form.  Hope I get the same results as you've all had!  Oh, and I made my way to Trader Joes yesterday to find the TJ moon cheese.  If I got the right stuff, it seems to me to be a cross between moon cheese and Mr. Cheese O's. It doesn't seem as dense as moon cheese, but I like the flavor better than Mr. Cheese Os.  Also, a tip for anyone who uses Torani syrup.  I was at Cost Plus and bought the SF Cinnamon Vanilla.  It is amazingly delicious!!!!!

DQOTD:  I'm a "not make waves" kind of girl.  I think it stems from being overweight, actually.  I never wanted to give anyone another reason to treat me poorly, and I thought if I complained, particularly about food being prepared incorrectly, people would think less of me.  That's carried over and I still don't complain.  I'm fine if other people I'm with want to say something, but I won't do it myself.

My plan:

B: 3.83 oz ham, 1/2 serving of cheddar cheese squares, latte made with 4 oz fairlife milk and cinnamon vanilla syrup.

L: 4.04 oz chicken thigh, green beans if necessary

D: Shrimp sauteed in olive oil and garlic (shrimp scampi lite!)

S: I brought a yogurt with me but haven't been able to eat them lately (Immediately queasy), I also have a quest bar or a kind bar, almonds after spin tonight.

Totals Cal: 824; Protein: 91g; Fat: 41g; carbs: 15g

Hello Menu Crew!

Kind of late posting. My dad stayed the night last night so I was visiting with him and I'm a little late posting. We had a great day for my son's birthday - my whole family came and we had a wonderful time.

I will complain if service is really bad but will also let them know if the service is really good.

I'm frustrated with the scale. I don't know if this is the start of a 3 week stall but I've been at 265.4 since Friday and up to 265.9 today. And after the initial 12 lbs in like 5 days, I've lost4 lbs in 13 days. I'm meeting all my protein and water goals and carbs are less than 30 per day.

Anyway, just have to keep doing what I'm doing. But it sucks.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

Hang in there... the scale really does play mind games with us.

Did you take measurements? The only one I got that I could stomach to actually take were my thighs... I've lost over 5" in each thigh since then... and I also started peeking at my waist and chest measurements over the months... now I have a pretty good idea of those, and when things start getting stuck, I'll check my measurements, and usually that helps for a bit.

That scale will move! You are NOT the freak that the surgery didn't work on (because I know your brain is thinking that)... you WILL begin to lose again
