Morning!

Home today, except for basketball practice tonight...husband will be at work which means loading up the crew. He was working 8 hour shifts until a few months ago when they switched to 12s. I miss the evening help when someone has an activity to get to!

QOTD- I am a weenie, lol. I rarely complain. I think it's fine to complain (respectfully) but I just don't unless it's bad. One time I did...I got asked to leave a McDonalds because I was nursing my baby. Discreetly. In the playland. My complaint didn't get anywhere.

Breakfast- vanilla protein shake with a spoon of sugar free caramel and the dregs of the coffee pot. Haven't had a shake in a long time! But I made a carby breakfast for the kids and when I was looking for something for myself I realized I wasn't hungry.

Lunch- Thai chicken soup. I also have some Brie coming to room temp.

snack- 1/2 a protein bar, hot tea

Dinner- we are cooking in Colorado tonight! Denver omelets. :)

snack- 100 cal chobani flip

Morning everyone!  Still feel like I am waking up this morning.  I had a super busy weekend full of late nights and laughing with friends. Good times. We got home just before midnight to find out that our fridge died. Uhg!  So...we emptied out all the ruined food (it is trash day so had to be done right then). Got to sleep super late and exhausted. I have been fussing with the Home Warranty company, Old Republic, all morning.  I am all about "Can I speak to your manager" right now. So frustrating.

Menu: B: Bacon Gouda Breakfast Sandwich from Starbucks.... Nothing else planned because all of our food went to the curb in a garbage bag at midnight. Sigh. Will sort it out I suppose.

Accountability: Lost several pounds this weekend.  Didn't track my food and I think I way under estimated me protein and calories.  Down to 119 this morning. Need to get back on MFP.  Not trying to drop this low so I need to watch it. Fridge is making that more delayed.

Wish me luck!

Sorry about your fridge! That Stinks!

Old Republic Home Warranties are a PIA, but hopefully it'll work out for you... you may need a big cooler for a couple of weeks though, because 'hurry' is typically not in their vocabulary!

Good morning menu crew.  Long time, no see.  I promise to be a better poster this week. Brrrrrr, Daisy.  That is some cold weather. They are using the "S" word here for midweek, but I am choosing to ignore the weather dudes.

I had nice weekend.  I was in Seattle to hang out with my friend that had an RNY on Monday.  I spent the weekend taking her on death marches and scolding her for putting time lines on her weight loss and comparing her week 1 loss to other people.  I should have taken her scale with me when I left. Otherwise, she is doing great.  We organized her closet by size.  I passed most of my clothes onto her, so she is set with a variety of sizes. It is going to be fun to watch her fabulous journey.

QOTD: It takes a lot to bug me, so I don't usually have reason to complain.  The one time I did get irate and rained hell down upon a cashier in a store is when a she was disrespectful and racist to a Vietnamese family.  They were lovely, and she was a cretin.  I was so mad I could hardly see straight.  Troll!

I bought a sous vide machine and have been having so much fun.  I tried a rib eye yesterday, and it was fantastic.  I'm going to try to recreate the Starbuck's egg bites tonight.  Yum!

Time Since Surgery: 2 years, 1 month

B:  Egg Breaters, bacon and mozzarella omelette

I have the instant pot and the sous vide attachment in my Amazon cart and keep almost hitting the order button, then deciding to wait. Mr. Hag does not believe that his rib eye could possibly improve... Convince him! And let me know how the egg bites turn out!
