Please tell your students that there are a lot of us who care very deeply for them and welcome them here... He does not speak for Americans.
This whole debacle makes me want to cry. I'm so ashamed at what our country is doing to our international families! It's truly so embarrassing. Please tell any students that need to hear it, that there are millions of us supporting them through this!

Good morning guys!
Chilly again here today, woke up with temps in the 30s and even now several hours later it hasn't crept higher than 37F....brrrrr. I may have to bust out wearing a hat today when we go out in a little bit. We got a bunch of yard work done yesterday aaaaaand discovered that one of our retaining walls broke . It was installed by the previous owners and from what we can ascertain they did it themselves and not properly. So, that is going to need to be fixed which means $$$. Oy, homeownership fun and games....right? Yesterday my MIL came over and made us dinner, she did pasta for my hubby and ricotta bake for me, it was delicious and a nice change from soup and pudding and jello! I did deviate from my plan yesterday in that I accidentally swallowed a bracket....luckily I'm fairly certain that its carb free, and really holds no nutritional value
QOTD: I'm definitely the type to say something for both negative and positive experiences. I'm also the type that will correct people if they give me too much change, or if I've discovered that I wasn't charged for something - just a couple days ago I bought a lamp that was two parts...but stuck together to make more room in my cart, the checkout lady only rang up the base and I stopped her and told her to be sure to ring up the shade as well. She looked surprised...I guess it's not common anymore?

S: EAS Protein Shake

You feel free to keep the cold and snow up there with you Daisy. We are low 20s here in Illinois today but Lily and I got out at 630 and got our 3.2 miles done. QOTD yes I will complain and send back food if it is the wrong item or if meat is overcooked. I used to just eat it before surgery but now my meat needs to be moist or I can't eat it and I'm tight so I won't pay for something I can't eat. Post op 4 years 5 months and weight in a good place at 117.4 today. Had another good day of no extra bites even though hubby was gone all day and I was bored out of my mind. I've found that not only am I an emotional eater,I also eat when bored. It's a daily fight for sure. Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz grilled salmon with 1/2 c grilled asparagus and onions D 31/2 oz chicken salad 1/2 c tomato slices S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices that move you one step closer to your goals!

Good morning. JB, Cheese is a tough monster to tame. I too am a little over-indulgent with Cheese Os. You might need an intervention.
QOTD - I embarrass my wife at times. I will tolerate a lot, but give me attitude or just don't listen and brainiack Dr. Jekyl comes out. I once had a heated exchange with an auto dealer service manager. He basically told me that my direction to them and the manufacturer specifications were just plain wrong and that he knew better. When I called him out that he was doing what he was doing to save $5 (with specific detail about my reasoning) and possibly causing engine damage to my car, things swung back in my direction (but only after I threatened to call corporate and have the incident documented before doing any work). The man sitting next to me had a similar car and started making fun of me to the others in the waiting area. I just said - "at least my car has the right spec oil in it. What about yours?" In the end, they used the right oil but didn't change their attitude. Took my business elsewhere a few months later. I figure that cost them about $3,000 in future work and the next car I purchased did not going to them. All over $5 in profit. For restaurants I don't get as vocal, but I do speak up. I then wait to see if they will do anything. About half will offer something. Now don't get me started with Sirius. I got the guy so rattled that I went from paying $150 per year to $30 for the next 6 months - all because they were trying to charge me for a car I traded in 3 years ago.
B - Light and Fit yogurt, 1/6 cup protein puffs and a few nuts
L - Leftover Chicken, cheese, broccoli omelette from yesterday (1 cup)
D - 3.5 ounce chicken burger patty with laughing cow cheese and some salsa (maybe a little leftover Cauliflower if I have room)
S - Premier protein chocolate drink; chicken jerky
Low key weekend. Yesterday was a Netflix binge day.
QOTD: Depending on what it is I stay quite. Sometimes restaurants have hiccups but we always give them another shot. If the same restaurant has too many problems then we quit going. Maybe once or twice we've asked for the manager. Like one time we ordered pricey fish to be wood grilled but they came out blackened with sauce! Totally ruined. Then told us they couldn't fix it because they were out of the fish. The manager was rude like none of it was his fault. The waitress was almost in tears but it was not her fault at all so when they finally comped our dishes we left her tip in the amount we would have paid. I can't stand going out to eat with people like my brother in law. There is always a problem and always a manager and it is annoying!!! I used to have a co-worker like that and everybody would avoid going to lunch with her. She is the person that changes, substitutes and makes ridiculous special requests. One time she ordered soup and ate most of it and put the rest in a to go container and told the waiter to go top it off with more soup!!! He told her he would have to charge her and she said no, I don't want another meal I just want you to go in the back and fill it up more juice.
B - Coffee w/ creamer & miralax
L - Gumbo
S - cheese stick
D - salmon, watercress salad w/olive oil and lemon dressing
