What;s on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?

Good morning Menu Crew! How was your weekend? Mine was great, really busy but really good! Its cold here again, -12F (11C) with the windchill feels like -16F (4C) and they are calling for snow all week, that makes me happy! It will be hikes with the dogs all week & next weekend in the snow! Had dinner with the hubby & my parents on the weekend to celebrate Mom's bday and it was wonderful. The food was excellent, it was great seeing my folks (we don't live close & don't see each other as much as I would like) and we had tons of laughs. My only issue was the restaurant we were at the overhead music was way too loud, it was really hard to hear my Mom sitting beside me talk, I am planning on writing the restaurant and letting then know of my "experience." Which is a good segue to my QOTD.
QOTD: Are you the type of person who will state a grievance if you feel your service or encounter/experience was not right/correct at a store or restaurant or event? Would you complain at a restaurant if your food is wrong, or not cooked how you asked. Would you write or call/speak in person to a store Manager to let them know an employee treated you wrong? Me - yes to all the above. I fill out "customer service surveys" all the time and when asked on the form if I want to be contacted I say yes every time. I also compliment and give positive feedback if my customer service was excellent, I think businesses need the feedback, both positive & negative, and if you don't say anything then how can the business change its practice to something better or provide feedback to a great employee to continue doing what they are doing.

Good morning all. I had a good uneventful weekend.
QOTD: I am not one to state a grievance. I just kind of let it go, if it is bad service or bad food I just may not go back there depending on the situation. I do tip well for good/ great service.

Cold and snow - brrrrrrr. Here in the northeast US it has been relatively mild and looks like it will continue that way through the week. Which is good because DH and I are driving to Florida beginning Friday.
Our beagle Duchess is doing well after what appeared to be a stroke Saturday morning. She is still stumbly as DS puts it but in good spirits and thinks she can do the usual things. She was bringing her toys to my husband to play last night and kept wanting to go out (like usual). Unfortunately she can't negotiate stairs and obviously can't be in the yard alone, but it is good to see her feeling better. We will talk to the Vet today about blood work and next steps.
QOTD: I do fill out comment cards and will say something if the food is really bad or the service is really bad, but not if it is just off a little. I'm always uncomfortable doing it. DH always has been vocal if something is wrong. He used to be fairly diplomatic about it, but now with Alzheimer's he can get downright nasty (he has lost some filters), but luckily doesn't happen often.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: leftover crab cake, unless DS cooks
S: protein chips or bar, nut thins and hummus, cheese, maybe almonds (need to add something to pick up some more calories right now).
Have a great Monday!
