10 MONTHS POST OP- W/ PIC
I am 2 months away from my one year anniversary of my RNY and I am so excited. I am 10 lbs away from reaching my goal and I feel completely confident that I can do it and keep losing. That's my plan anyway. I would like to lose a little extra to give me some wiggle room for regain. As far as my journey I feel like it is going very similar to everyone else's I read about here! There are good days, days I make bad decisions, and nearly every day I am happy with myself and the healthy life style I've adapted to. I could do better at logging or keeping track of my food intake because I do not know how much I am always eating but I love to cook and I have revamped nearly every one of our favorite meals into a little or no carb success! I still struggle with water intake and recently started trying to drink a gallon of water a day...still struggling. LOL
On a personal note, I need to point out that I wouldn't have been nearly as successful if it wasn't for the wonderful family that surrounds me. My biggest cheerleader has been my fiance who loved me at my heaviest and loves me the same today (although he is thoroughly enjoying the tiny more confident me). Two weeks ago we decided our love was worth some official paperwork and we went ahead and planned the most beautiful, small, intimate wedding for 16 of our closest family members in one week! It was so special and our guests are still raving about it's perfection. You would have thought we planned this thing for 2 years! LOL we really lucked out!
Below is our first and only official wedding photo we've gotten back from the photographer so far and we used it to announce our marriage to all of our friends and family who were not in on the surprise then a couple blurry ones to show the success I've had. A year ago I weighed 265 lbs and NEVER would have thought that I wouldn't need the most deluxe girdle imaginable under my future wedding dress...my NSV was a pair of lace panties and no lumps to worry about
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! The dress is perfection and new DH very handsome. Congratulations!
