Sorry about your regain Anny. But by being here with us on the menu thread (and when I say "us" I mean you too!) it shows you are committed to working your tool again and also shows our newbies how "real" like is after WLS and how coming back here and posting and being accountable can and will work. Girl you did the menu post for what a year or more! You so got this! You were able to fit planning your meals, logging into MFP, exercising into your life before so why can't you do it again? I will say it a million times over, this post op life is HARD, HARD, HARD! Some days I want to throw in the towel and eat a friggin bday cake but I grab a babybel instead, so not the same ha ha

I love your beach Pictures... I don't have any recent ones, thought about running to the beach this week and taking a winter at the beach one...but the weather has been raining on and off. yuk. SO I pulled out one of me and my Mom from when I was 13. We had a beach house growing up Fire Island. She died when I was 23, still miss her so mu*****ase you don't know what Fire Island is it is a barrier reef beach that runs the length of long Island to the South. If you don't know what Long Island is, where I live, I guess you need to get a map LOL... This pic was actually the end of the summer right after I had gotten home from 'fat camp'.... so the most normally looking in my young life...I actually weigh more there than I do now...Summer of 1971...notice the pattern on my shirt...flower power!
QOTD: This is a great question.... I like having a plan, because it makes me think about my day, what I'm doing, what food I have in the house...am I eating out...so I don't get caught off guard. I frequently change my plan, or don't eat it in the order posted... The last couple of days I have stuck fairly closely as I am at the higher end of my maintenance range...169...which I don't like. I will check sometimes if I feel hungry, or stuck with what to eat ...my menu and be like- Oh, I said I was going to have XYZ... so just eat it. I was hungry late last night because I was working on a project with someone until 1:30AM...(Ugh...sleep you elude me) and was getting hungry, so I checked my menu and I realized I never ate the yogurt, so I did...in that way helps me still feel in control too...not wontonly just eating...again there is a plan...
Edit to add: When I 'stray' as someone said it is often just something else in my rotations of food... unless there is a total change of plan like going out to eat... Straying does not equal going off the rails...
B: Coffee Latte w/fairlife milk and miralax, may be a 2 latte morning...just sayin' , Orange Julius Protein Drink
L: TJ Turkey with Melted cheese
D: Pork with veggie (never ate last night)
Snacks: Chicken, greek yogurt... maybe at a friends tonight so there maybe a few snacks involved- cheese, popcorn, etc...
Ex: 21 day fix- modified, Pilates today
Think I am calling the Doc too, day 10 today on antibiotic and my ears are still clogged and hurt from pressure...

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. I love all the beach pics! The beach was a place that I was too self conscious to go when I was MO! I love it now. Weekend plans are busy, tonight we are going to an afterwork function until 7pm, then going to a College Hockey game and after that we are meeting friends to see a local band and dance the night away. Tomorrow I have to officiate a couple of hockey games and then my wife and I are going to Burlington Vermont to the Christmas tree shop and Trader Joes and then out to dinner, Sunday my son has a Hockey game. I will be at the gym like most weekend days by 7 am.
QOTD - I do stray and that is a problem, though I am successful, I find that with the amount of exercise workout I do I amy not be eating enough protein which in turn makes me graze a little.
B - Protein Bar
S - Yogurt
L - homemade chef salad
S - buddig meat and cheese
D - Chicken wings
Exercise - going dancing tonight.
