Taking "the kids" out for their 14th anniversary tonight.

QOTD:  I'm fine during the day.  I pack my food so what I have to eat is all there is.  My trouble is after dinner.  Usually as I'm cleaning up the dishes, etc.  I have this strong urge to grab a handful (or two or three) of almonds.  Once I get out of the kitchen I'm usually fine.

Sorry, no pics for me but I love seeing the beach pics especially on a cold windy day.

B:  Decaf coffee w/GNC vanilla cream protein powder

L:  the last of this batch of Eggface's ricotta bake

S:  1 pickled egg, 1 piece of string cheese (not together though)

D:  Chinese buffet (Wish me success!  This is my first buffet post-op.  DH has been dying to go to this place.  I know you can get take out by the lb./oz. so if I'm brave enough I'll ask if I can do that.  Other wise, I'll suck up the cost and do my best to stay on plan.)

E:  day off today (unless you count cleaning the house when I get home)

The hubby and I are planning to take the kids and grandkids out for a big family night out some time over the weekend. Hopefully the girls share a night off so we can all go. If not, we'll just take the grandkids some place they can jump and run and play.

I don't have any beach vacation pics. I grew up in Tampa, so that was a thing we did pretty much weekly. Vacations for me don't include the beach. LOL  However! Hubs has a conference in late June in Hawaii and we're going to make a vacation week of it. I need a break this summer and I can't think of a better way to relax than laying in the sun in Hawaii. So here is where I'll be!

 

Haven't planned a menu yet today, but it will go something like this:

Eggs and Bacon

Meatballs, leftover from last night.

Something Mexican, the kids want tacos.

Yogurt for a snack and a protein shake or two, so I stay over 100g protein.

TGIF!

I usually stick to my planned menu, when I take the time to plan ahead I don't have to think about what I want. I just follow the plan. I'm not 100% rigid, I'll take a tiny bite of mac n cheese off the baby's plate while I'm feeding him occasionally. :x  But life goes on. :)
