This year we aren't going on a trip. I was  having surgery and another friend's daughter is getting married in September. On another note, I am invited to the wedding in Florida and 2 of our other friends will also be there. I'm actually going to fly to Florida with one of them.

I'm really looking forward to it.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

Happy Fri-YAY! Good Morning! Love your pics Daisy.  I am hoping the weather holds off enough for you to be able to take your mom to dinner to celebrate but think it's more important to be safe.  Nothing on plan for the weekend aside from normal errands. I plan to get some rest and work on my crochet blanket a bit. It's supposed to be a little sunny so maybe we will do something outdoors.

QOTD: I do stray sometimes. If I do, it's usually in the evening and I either eat a protein bar or peanut butter "by the spoon" or a handful of something like cheese-its while I am packing my food for the next day.  There are times I grab trail mix here at work or something like that.  Those Sommersaults are dangerous for me, I find I have a hard time sticking to the portion size. The last time I bought a bag, I only ate them at work when I had packed a serving. Glad we can all be honest here :)

Time since surgery: 2 years, 5 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Jalapeno and Monterey cheese chicken sausage, carrots and string cheese

S: SF latte, Strawberry and rhubarb Siggi yogurt, and pork rinds

D: Another chicken sausage, boiled egg, and a decaf SF latte with fairlife later in the evening

E: 7 miles this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1150 Protein:112 Carbs:69 Fat:45

Have a great one!

Here are my beach pics.  You can tell by how short Emily is that this was a few years ago...probably 5-6 (also one of the times I lost weight prior to WLS) but my late FIL took this pic and I love it.

Hello Everyone,

My weekends are work weekends until our high school production is over the first weekend of March. So, in the meantime my house gets no attention and I'm usually a walking zombie. I will have a few days off when I visit Tulsa in February to see my son so I'm really looking forward to that.

QOTD: As a newbie, I don't stray at all. I am proud to say I've never cheated during these four months. I know that's great, but I'm kind of and all or nothing kind of girl which concerns me in the future when I have to be able to ebb and flow. I've just taken the advice of all the vets here and I'm not going to stray while in the losing phase. I do however substitute things. Sometimes I get home from work and I'm so tired and not hungry all I want is something warm and cozy so instead of tuna I'll have a protein hot chocolate mixed with decaf, etc. The stats usually stay pretty close to the same and certainly stay within the 600 calorie limit I've set for myself. However, I have learned that if I'm having a food anxious day, (head hunger day) I try to eat dense solid protein because it help satisfy me more than a shake does.

B: Decaf, protein hot chocolate, 2.1 oz prosciutto

L: 3 oz grilled chicken tender, 1 tablespoon of lemon pepper grill sauce

D: 3 oz grilled chicken tender, 1 oz mozz cheese, roman lettuce, low fat dressing

S: 3.5 oz Shrimp, ****tail, babybel cheese

calories 539, protein 94, carbs 13, fat 16

Happy Friday everyone, yay we made it to the weekend. No real plans just nice to have hubby home with me.

So I know its vacation beach photo day but I don't have any. I would never have my picture taken at the beach. This one is rare enough. This picture taken in my backyard sal****er pool. It was taken 2 summers ago. I don't like this picture of myself but that's kinda why I'm sharing it with you. Reminding myself to be mindful with my eating or return to this very unhealthy and sick lifestyle that I was living. I feel sad looking at this picture but am looking forward to lots of happy beach family photos.

QOTD: Since Christmas I have been struggling some days more than others and have been eating off plan. I do try to balance it out when it happens and adjust or eliminate my snack or meal. Trying to not beat myself up but rather learn forgive and move on.Read a good article online last night about low carb high fat eating. Had some really good receipes, I'll share some later if they turn out. Eating sugar and processed foods make me really sick, you would think that would be enough of a deterent.

I am sorry you feel sad when you see this picture.  I see a beautiful woman.  Being overweight doesn't change that fact.  However, I am happy you are living a healthier life!

I love this sentiment.  I think we can all use a reminder every now and then that we were beautiful when bigger.  Sometimes it's hard to recognize that!

So true, I see the beauty in others but don't seem to aford myself the same recognition.

I understand it is hard to see photos of ourselves in a place we don't want to be, but I am with Kat, I see a beautiful woman surrounded by a lot of love. You are a rich woman.
