Carb coma is no joke. I have gotten shaky and jittery too. Oh and cold sweats.

Good morning all.  I need to make time to post.  I've gained a few lbs over the last 2 weeks (although looking back at my menus I think a majority of it relates to my poop issues, but there's I refuse to believe it's all poop, so anyway . . . on to accountability.

QOTD:  I posted separately, but I've become very good at saying no thank you when offered non-plan foods.  Most people who know me respect that and don't push.  I lost my mind today when the attorney in the next office offered me a cannoli.  At first I said no thank you, then something compelled me to take it.  I had two bites and I was done.  Not a smart move for someone who has spent the morning *****ing about gaining weight.  On the bright side . . . if there can be one . . . even after I accounted for the bites in MFP, my carbs were low and my calories were in check.  I guess that's something . . .

Here's my plan:

B: 2 turkey sausage links, 1/2 egg, 1/2 slice of cheese, 2 bites cannoli

L: Roasted turkey breast, either a bite of broccoli or green bean

D: NY Strip steak (4 oz or as close as I can get when weighing)

S: Skinny latte, 3.35 oz ham slices, 1 oz almonds after the gym (although I may forego this tonight.  I need to do the blood glucose test tonight before I meet with the Dumping specialist on Wednesday and I have to test my blood 20 minutes before eating.  If I have the almonds on my way home, I'll have to wait to test which means eating dinner later . . . decisions, decisions, decisions.

I've been tired, like cold to the bone, can barely lift my feet, dragging tired for about 2 weeks now. Ugh, I'm so over it. January winter blues? Trapped in the house, lack of sunshine? Dwindling iron or B12? Who the heck knows. I'm just over it!

I'm a firm believer in moderation, I could never live a life of deprivation. Life is too short to not take a bit of chocolate dipped bacon. I'm at the point now, like you, that a bite or two honestly satisfies me and I'm grateful for that. I do, however, dump. I'm also grateful for that!! LOL

The grandkids asked for fried chicken tonight, so that's on the menu. (I don't eat the skin.)

Feeling hungrier than normal today, so winging the menu a little. So far, so good.

Hi everyone,

I'm still not able to eat much cause I'm still not completely over the stomach bug. I ended up changing yesterday's menu to Italian sausage for dinner cause I was feeling good but it ended up sending me straight to the toilet for quite some time. I should have stuck with plain ole spiral ham.

QOTD: Pizza is my kryptonite and so I stay very far away from it. On my birthday I did a bite of a slice. Nothing before or since. Sweets do not attract me.

B:2 eggs, 1 strip of bacon, 1/2 slice cheese

L: 2 1/2 oz corrando spiral sliced ham

D: 2 1/2 oz spiral sliced ham

If I am able to tolerate a little more protein I will have it

Enjoy the rest of your day! I hope everyone that is sick feels better soon!

It's funny: Though I loved pizza before WLS, that is one of the things I haven't tried/craved.  I would probably be satisfied with the topping only as I don't care much about the crust. But I figure since it isn't calling me, I might as well stay away from it.

Good Evening!!

Late and quick post! Missed yesterday as I had to work, and I'm coming at you from work now. (Part-time Job)  I'm hiding in the corner hoping no guests need me. LOL

Went off the rails yesterday. Man, I need to be more careful.  I ended up having two packs of Brookside chocolates. (The ones from Costco)

QOTD: I'm drooling just thinking about it, and I would have some. For sure.

Menu today is "off" again. I plan and then I succumb while at work.

Breakfast: Tea with Restoralax, 2 protein bites

Snack: Light and fit greek yogurt

Lunch: Tuna with Balsamic

Snack: UGH. Chocolate.  I'm weak.

Supper:  Remains to be seen. Working tonight, but I have a protein bar in my pocket.

Last game they had pizza for us at the end. I resisted. But just barely!!

Hope everyone had a great day!
