Mmmmmmm..... Garrett's popcorn!

I used to make anyone I knew flying through Chicago pick me up some! It still wasn't as good as getting it fresh from the store, but it was still pretty yummy!

I haven't had but like 10 kernals of popcorn since my surgery, and that was recently when we went to the movies... but Garrett's... Ugh, I'd have to really work hard not to eat the caramel... maybe just a few bites of the buttered and cheddar though!!!

Another late start. Ugh, can't these people we work for understand that OH comes first??!

Yesterday was awful for me... I couldn't get satisfied. I had my planned breakfast... then a handful (or two? I'm not even sure) of cashews... then a couple of small pieces of beef jerky... several hard SF candies, a piece or two of SF gum)... then lunch, leftover as planned, with a handful of pork rinds... then more cashews... beef jerky... dinner, I just grazed through it all (I was cooking and meal prepping)... ham, steak, a bite of black beans, spoonful of cottage cheese... 6.5 pretzels, and 1/2 of a fresh egg muffin!!!  Finally got myself to stop so I could have my nightly latte before it was too late!  Damn it. It was awful. Obviously there are worse things to go rogue on, but it was such a free for all, and I just didn't stop it!

On a good note... the other day I picked up this beautiful dress at Goodwill... and I thought it was an 8 (Score!), but last night when I tried it on at home (and my son told me it fit me like a glove - his words! LOL), and got to looking (with my glasses on) it's a 6.  That's the first 6 I've bought since I was in my twenties...

Today, back on track! (Gotta wear that dress when it warms up!)

QOTD: I've noticed that over time, my resistance to things that didn't want to consume Ever, has turned into things that shouldn't be consumed Most of the Time... I had a few bites of my son's birthday cake (But it was a tres leche!!! and I was the only one that liked it! ftr, I threw it out before I had more than those few bites)... those 6.5 pretzels last night (hey, when I grabbed them out of the bag, it was 6.5!)... a taste of bread... a cracker or three at a gathering...I am guessing this is a natural progression over time. I was militant at the beginning, and then it has slowly relaxed. In my mind, this is OK, as long as I continue to lose, continue to be honest with myself, and continue to feel like I have a good grip on things. I draw the line at some things, and actually threw away a perfectly good package of Oreos my daughter brought home, forgot about, and left on the kitchen counter for one too many days. I was fine, until I wasn't. I opened that package, stuck my nose into them and took a big breath of that wonderfully sinful goodness... my mouth watered, and I reached for a cookie. And I stopped myself. I threw them in the trash, and smashed them down into all the coffee grounds. I want to be able to have a taste of MOST things that are wonderful, but if I can't trust myself to behave right, to go overboard and face down into, then I won't allow myself a taste of it... I hope that continues for the rest of my life.

Weight this morning, up one full pound from yesterday... 154.6

B: 1.5 egg muffins with ham and bacon cheddar cheese (3 oz total for 2 of them, just got full)

L: Leftover steak 2.8 ounces

S: I'm planning out a 1oz jerky snack... but not part of a continual graze!

D: Hubs is making ham and beans... there will be copious amounts of ham in there too! (total weight will be 4oz)

S: Latte with Fairlife skim and SF syrup

Exercise... my partner that I meet at lunch isn't feeling well... I really need to go without her... but I also really need a new purse...

size 6 ! whoop whoop!!!

I can totally relate to everything you just wrote, which is why I say no more sugary gateway foods at night (at least I am trying).  I do the same, I might pass the kitchen, get 3 almonds. then an hour later, a couple carrots. i know that it is grazing but at the same time, at least I'm eating something 'on plan' so I rationalize it.

Your Oreo story reminds me of a Sex in the City scene where Miranda can't stop eating chocolate cake and finally throws it in the trash, then starts eating it out of the trash! She finally squirts dish soap all over it, so funny! I had to do that with a box of cheese-itz once...

Yeah for you! Just remember that size 6 dress when you need to get the grazing under control.

Seriously though, I found a couple of things that will usually stop me when I get into that mode: one is cheddar cheese and the other is cottage cheese. For whatever reason they fill me up enough that I generally can stop.

When I opened the post and saw those cupcakes I just gasped! OMGoodness! That would have been torture...and chocolate covered bacon? What kind of monster creates these things? Did Hubby say it actually tasted good?

QOTD: Loaded question.... in the beginning while losing weight would totally have avoided... now there maybe a bite or two or three involved. depends. At Christmas someone brought homemade Italian Sesame cookies to church- one of my all time favorites, and was just handing them out after service- I popped one of those suckers into my mouth without thinking twice...until I was chewing it and in my head I'm like "What the hell did you just do?"  As mentioned over the weekend after my 2AM popcorn debacle of Friday night...some food gets relegated to 'out of the house' or 'with company only' as peer pressure will control my urge to overeat on it...

After a long day of retracing my steps and calling lost and founds...I found my phone exactly where I thought I had left it but at 4PM, so one day wasted on that. I had left it in the Aerie store the bra and lingerie store associated with American Eagle.... I called in the morning at 9am but I guess their phone systems are connected so when Aerie didn't pick up, it threw my call over to the American Eagle store...which of course they were like "No we don't have your phone"... So I decided to go in later in the day even though they said no... the same young girl was there and she was immediately- "Your phone" Yay! Ugh...all day...
