I had my initial consultation today
I am so excited. I just had my initial consultation today and now I just have to jump through all the insurance hoops. It looks like the earliest I can have my surgery is July 12 but will more likely be Sept 12th since I have a cruise already scheduled for Mid August. Oh well it will be here before I know it.

Congrats! I had a full year from initial referral to surgery, and now I'm 2 days post op. It's a lot to take in so you'll be in good shape. I tell people all the time I'm thankful for the long insurance wait to fully understand what is required of me and be able to get my mindaround it. Now I'm just dealing with protein powder that doesn't want to mix well in shakers... might have to bust out my nutri bullet LOL
I'm most excited about the cruise I have planned for July for my 40th bday. Hoping to be able to move more, with less pain and greater stamina. I have 13 days in Europe to contend with so looking forward to getting there!
