A shorter list would be what I do NOT like at TJs ;)

Here are just some of my favorites:

ALL of their cheeses - great prices and delicious!

Artichoke and jalepeno dip near the hummus

Cilantro and jalapeno hummus

Their nuts (rosemary and olive oil marcona almonds are a fave)

Their seasoned and cut brussels sprouts

All of their produce is affordable - sugar snap peas, kale salad, etc.

In the frozen aisle:

Turkey meatballs

Chili lime chicken burgers

Dover sole

Tilapia

Shrimp

Crab stuffed flounder

I can't find them anymore but parmesan chicken lollipops

If you are ok with some carbs - the shrimp and the chicken potstickers and gyoza!

In their fresh meat area:

Ground turkey

Dijon salmon

Jalapeno chicken sausage

Just try to avoid the shelves above the frozen areas that have the most delicious candy!

I have also heard that they have their own brand of Moon Cheese, but haven't tried it yet...and I know Juniper Berry loves their thick cut roasted turkey slices (near the deli meat).

Their wine prices are also the best I have ever found!  Have fun on your first trip!  I don't know how yours is, but ours has insanely long lines on weekends - but they are quick at the checkout so don't let it deter you!

I'm checking out on my job now especially on the stuff I don't enjoy because I know I am retiring at the end of the year. And I have 10 more months of work (minus 4-5 weeks of vacation)!

Late post from me today. My endo was yesterday and came back clear. Great news that everything is fine but does not explain the random left and right hand side pain. Gastro said sometimes your body takes time to get used to the new way and usually resolves itself over time. So for now, will continue the protonix and antispasmodic. my followup is 3-4 months, so will use this time to see if there are trends in food/poop that may be the cause. Was ill last night from the anesthesia whole body hurt and felt so bad. was thinking I would be sick from work today but too much work to do that so came in.

QOTD: we would always get crazy gifts from my grandparents on my dads side. Usually they were isotoner slippers or ballet flats, weird sweat bands with Moody air force base sewed into it. the headband/sweatband was the funniest.

I would use your scarf for the dogs for sure, then it would be 'being used'

having major food cravings at night. don't need food, just WANT it. Need a distraction to keep mind busy during this time. usually having yogurt but I might just start doing dense protein instead to quell that hunger.

food for today:

grilled ham steak, egg whites, decaf, fairlife milk

turkey, 1/2 quest bar (maybe)

not sure for dinner but i think i will do something in instant pot.

I have those days as well. Some days it's like all I think about is food and I have to keep myself from eating all day and some days I look up and it's 3 pm and all I had was coffee all day. On the weekends I could be fine with only eating dinner. I really have to remember to eat. I have noticed that on the days that I want to eat the world is usually the day after I cheated with popcorn

QOTD: I never tell someone that I don't like a gift they got me. I'm the type of person that avoids confrontation so I wouldn't be able to handle if they got their feelings hurt or mad because they put so much thought into what they gave me. If it seems they didn't put any thought into the bad gift then even better because they will never ask about it. I will re-gift if it's re-giftable and not horrendous like your husbands scarf .

B - Coffee with creamer and miralax, Unjury chicken soup protein

L - Salad & lasagna - I forgot my lunch today and we have a lunch meeting. I will get a tiny scoop of lasagna, mostly the meat sauce but just mainly eat the salad.

S - cheese stick and more Unjury chicken soup since my lunch is crappy.

D - corned beef with a little cabbage

Your scarf story made me laugh and I needed a laugh. i can visualize the look exchange. I haven't had my coffee, and am overtired and cranky. I majorly lost my phone sonewhere sometime in my rush to get to the surgeon's seminar to speak. When I do "find my phone' it says it is offline.. which is weird...ugh.

Bad gift? Usually just smile and will try and return if I can. Have occasionally been know to regift- not something horrible but something for whatever reason i can't use.

Pretty much stuck to my food yesterday except didn't eat chili. So yay!

B: Coffee!!! With miralx and fairlife milk. 2 eggs, cheese

S: greek yogurt berries

L: chicken on salad

S:?

D: pork loin, green beans

S: pb on spoon
