It's grape crush drops or propel zero packets. :-)

Good morning! I am feeling strong and motivated today. I had a group post op meeting with my dietician on Monday. What a waste of time and money. I was told it was required, which made me laugh! I have already had my surgery. I am so thankful for this board and the people on it! I have learned so much.
QOTD- If I receive something I do like or can't use, I give it away. I manage a meal site for seniors, so I just take it to work and put it out on the table. My seniors love to take stuff and give them as gifts for their family
I am loving those chomps meat sticks from Trader Joes!! I bought 2 the other day and they are so nice to keep in my purse. I will be buying more next week. Our closest Trader Joes is about an hour away, so I will be stocking up next week when I go into town to see my surgeon.
Todays Food Plan-
B- 3 ounces chicken breakfast sausage
L- 3 ounces albacore tuna with 1 T. mayo, diced onion and dill pickle
D-3 ounces baked cod with lemon juice
S- Unjury chicken soup ( to bump up protein)
Calories 445 Protein 72 Carbs 3....
Have a great day everyone.
I agree that OH is more helpful, but some people aren't comfortable using online support groups. I was hesitant too, so I just researched here for months before I really started participating. A friend is having RNY tomorrow and though I suggested OH, I have the impression that he hasn't joined (unless he is lurking like I did).

Good morning. I just save most of those gifts for the office christmas/holiday party white elephant (unless I got it from someone at work). Nothing like a great gift like your husband's scarf :)
B - Fage 0% greek yogurt with a little banana, pb2 and flax
L - Leftover smoked salmon omelette with laughing cow cheese
D - Zucchini stir fry with Asian Vegan Chicken tenders
S - Banana Premier protein RTD; half a quest bar at a lunch meeting (just in case)
Good morning Daisy and menu friends, fortunately my hunger has not come back yet. Having said that, I have been having a problem with acid reflux from my ulcer. I'm taking previcid fast tabs twice a day and sulcrate 4 times a day. This acid reflux is making me feel hungry. This just started about a week ago. Yesterday I changed my menu up and it seemed to help. I was having a protein shake for lunch and shortly after that's when the hunger feeling came. I didn't have my shake yesterday, instead I had 3 slices of deli turkey. I'm going to stay with this plan for a few days and see how it goes.
QOTD : Love the scarf story Daisy, I could picture the whole scenario probably because I've been in that same situation many times. I graciously say thank you and take the gift home. I hold on to it for a bit then I sometimes give it away if someone else can use it. Some things can be not my taste but if it has sentimental value I don't give it away. (Gasp )I have regifted before.
Menu
B 1 egg omlett, 15 grs of cheddar, 2 oz of ham
S 3 slices of deli turkey
L3 slices of deli turkey
D 1 Oz of ground turkey, 1 /2 cup of spaghetti sauce
S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt
Totals 610 calories. 70. 5 grams of protein
Have a good day everyone.
it's a winter wonderland out there and schools are closed - so I may work from home today - or at least until later on this morning after the plows come by and DH gets the driveway shoveled out!! I don't particularly want to risk my life going to my office when I can do the exact same work I was planning on doing this morning from my house (fortunately, I'm able to do that - I know a lot of people don't have that option)
QOTD: I am very gracious about it and then toss the unwanted gift in a drawer or closet once I get home. BTW - I actually love seafoam green - but the shape of that thing sounds bizarre!! A doggie throw seems like a good use for it!
19 months out (and seem to be in maintenance which may be OK - I've been at 145-148 for quite awhile, which is within my normal BMI range and does seem pretty comfortable. I just hope I can stay here!!)
B: L&F coconut yogurt, 1 T cacao nibs, 10 raspberries, 1 T Kashi Crunch granola
S: double SF snickerdoodle protein shake, maybe coffee with half & half
L: if I'm still at home, then raw veggies with hummus. If i go into work by then, then cottage cheese
D: 1/2 Panera Thai chicken salad
another L&F Greek yogurt this evening if I can afford the calories
Good Morning! Stopping in quick since I need to head to the car dealership in a few to drop off my car. Hubby noticed last night that it is leaking some fluid...not sure what it is. Hoping it doesn't take them long to figure out what the issue is and get it repaired.
QOTD: I fall into the "thank the gift giver" category as well. I truly do appreciate anything someone gives me-at least they were thinking of me right? :) We need a pic of Arun in all in green-ness!!
Time since surgery: 2 years, 5 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, 1/2 an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Buddig ham pack, a boiled egg and baby carrots
S: SF latte, Vanilla Siggi yogurt, and jerky pack
D: Albacore tuna, baby carrots, and a decaf SF latte with fairlife later in the evening
E: 45 mins stepper this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1058 Protein:121 Carbs:85 Fat:27
Have a great one!
Good morning Daisy and Menu crew, we had a terrible ice storm that turned into snow yesterday and I took the day off. Happy belated Birthday daisy's MOM.
I am slowly winding down at my current job and have noticed that I am slowly checking out. I am trying to not be in that frame of mind, and honestly it is hard not to be.
QOTD - I truly cherish every gift, I don't think I have ever had a bad one. I will tell you something that I do about every other Christmas. I like to take something from my Mother in laws house and wrap it and give it to her for Christmas. this year I did that and I also wrapped an empty box. So we distribute the gifts and the first one she opens is the empty box and everyone is dying of laughter and thinks it is over, the next gift she grabs to open is the item I took from her house, we were dying of laughter....I guess you could say they were crappy gifts...but hilarious ones...good thing my MIL loves me!
B - Hard boiled egg
S - Greek yogurt
L - Chef Salad
S - Buddig Meat and Cheese
D - Bang Bang Shrimp
Exercise - 90 minutes at the gym.
Stay Healthy my friends. Mike
****** Question for all Trader Joes shoppers - I do not usually go to Trader Joes and am going on Sunday, can you tell me some of your favorites?

chomps meat sticks! They are down the aisle with the snack food. Also the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella sticks.
