Energy Levels
Yeah, mine do. Sometimes I have days where I'm like "oh, this is the energy everyone talks about!" But then,,,not. I'm not sure why...my protein levels when they do my bloodwork have been a little low. My next check up in March 1, and I'm trying to be very diligent about hitting my protein every day to see if I can get those numbers up,,,hoping that will help. I do definitely notice I feel much better when I get plenty of water. Sometimes I will feel run down in the afternoons, and drinking a big glass of water perks me right up.

They certainly did for me, for maybe 8 or 9 months after surgery. The first couple of months I was just tired a lot. After that, I would have good days and bad, with no pattern. But also, I was pretty tired most of the time at 5 or 6 months post surgery. That faded, and from 8 or 9 months, I've been fine.
Recovering from surgery and anesthesia takes a while. Then your body has to deal with huge changes. It's a really big deal you are going through.
A lot of people decide they need to eat more, to get more energy. Fight that urge if you get it. Take a little nap now and then. Get your excess weight off, and you'll be much better for it down the road.

Yes they sure do!!! I'm about seven weeks out of surgery. Obviously the very early weeks I was napping every day. Now it is about two times a week. I still have to tell myself that I'm healing and this whole rest thing is going to be random, but it is necessary.

My surgery was last Sept and I still find myself going to bed much earlier especially on work nights. I am still tired a lot.

Four months out here and I still have low energy some days... maybe half the time. I go to bed pretty early, get 8-9 hours of sleep each night. I also find that if I get plenty of fluids I feel better, and not sure if protein plays a part but I am trying to up my protein from 60 grams a day to closer to 90.
My energy constantly fluctuates. Ive definitely felt the energy rush but I also have an equal number of low energy days. Looking forward to when it evens out.

Mine do fluctuate, but I feel like it's a monthly trend. You may have your iron levels checked out. I found that when I started taking the iron supplements on a regular basis (not good at remembering to take meds, so I set an alarm three times a day to remind me), I felt a lot better....until the cycle came around, and then I just felt all blah in general.
