What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?

Happy Birthday to your little sweetheart!
Girl how can you stand to make 3 dozen cupcakes? Cupcakes are one of my trigger foods, no way I could make 3 dozen b/c only 1 dozen would make it out the door! Your dinner out sounds lovely, I love ribs! And awesome on down another 1.6 lbs yahoo!
You rock on doing your taxes already!! I am not that prepared or ready LOL
working the evening shift today (noon - 8:00 pm) which screws up my eating a bit, although I like having the morning free!! (I'm working at the reference desk from 4-8 and can't really leave, so that means eating dinner at some ungodly early hour, or taking a protein bar with me and eating it on the sly...)
QOTD: I eat pretty much the same foods now as I did pre-surgery except for carbs (I didn't eat many simple carbs, but I did eat a lot of the complex variety. I still eat complex carbs occasionally, but NOTHING like I did before!). So basically, it's just a major switch in my macro ratio. So I really can't think of anything I don't like now that I did before - or vice versa. My sense of taste, I think, is more intense (so sweet things taste sweeter, for example) - but then, I never really ate a lot of sweets in the first place...
19 months out:
B: homemade plain Greek yogurt, 2 T homemade cranberry sauce
S: coffee with half & half, double SF protein/Metamucil mocha latte
L: cottage cheese, satsuma orange
D: probably a protein bar
maybe a L&F Greek yogurt when I get home from work
Ruthie the cat is doing much better. The vet recommended we give her fluids for a couple of days in case her nausea was caused by constipation. I've given fluids to lots of critters - some are great about it, some not - but never to her. She was one of the great ones - just sat quietly on DH's lap while I did the deed. Yay! She's a great patient!!

So glad Ruthie is feeling better!

I am so glad Ruthie is better! I hope its just fluids and she gets better each day. My my Oliver suddenly becomes a Ninja in twisting his body to get away from sticking medications etc in his mouth, my girl Amy just sits there and lets you do whatever you need to do. Glad Ruthie is a good kitty patient for you & hubby.
Hope your afternoon shift is going well
Hi Daisy and everyone,
Your mom looks adorable and smily, just like you!
QOTD: Nothing grosses me out but I learned the hard way that quinoa, rice, and falafel make me projectile vomit. I won't ever try them again. Too bad since I loved falafel before surgery!
Your menu looks awesome, as always. Mine isn't ideal today. No one's fault but mine!
Time Since Surgery: Over 3 years
B: Leftover homemade chicken finger, pickles, coffee (coffee an hour before the chicken and pickles!)
L: Grilled chicken and cheese quesadilla, cucumbers
D: Thin crust pizza, we are going on "date night" to our first dinner date restaurant where they do wood oven pizza :)
E: 45 minutes elliptical at lunch
I am using patches from patchMD (thanks for the reco!) and I LOVE them. I put them on after my morning shower. I love not having to think about it during the day. I have an iron, a multi, and a calcium/D3 patch. They could not be easier!
Have a great day, all!!!
Falafel- that is a tough one... I haven't had it since surgery, just remembering the yumminess...
Love the patches as well...In the summer I started putting them on overnight...works better with pool/sun time, and just stuck with it..
