I have to cook them -- or they don't sit well with me, either.  In fact, lunch meat in general doesn't.  If I cook them in the toaster oven for about 4 or 5 minutes -- they are good to go.

Went to see Hidden Figures on Saturday and really enjoyed it.  I was bad though and ate almost half a bag (small) of popcorn.  This has been my first real off-program splurge since surgery.  No side effects other than a 1 lb. gain on the scale.  I don't plan on making it a habit, but it was a nice treat.  Went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and all I could eat was 1/2 of my cup of chili.  Back on track today.

B:  Decaf Coffee w/ GNC vanilla cream protein

L:  Turkey Salad (2 oz. turkey, 1 T mayo)

S:  1/2 C.  Light-n-Fit Greek Yogurt, 1/2 Scoop protein powder, 1.5 T PBS

D:  3 oz. left over chicken,  a few green beans

E:  60 minutes on the eliptical

Forgot the QOTD:  Day person all the way.  I'm up between 4-4:30 a.m. whether or not the alarm is set, but come 8 p.m. it's nighty night for me.  On vacations I try to stay in bed until 6 a.m. so I don't drive DH crazy and stay up until 9 or 10 p.m.  I don't remember the last time I saw 11 p.m. (unless it was to get up to go to the bathroom.)

On vacations, I have to plan how I'm going to be quiet in the room or where I can go so I don't disturb my husband!

QOTD: Night person at heart, yet love when I wake up early and get a lot done without the alarm going off...  I can absolutely be mopping my kitchen floor at midnight... when I get a second wind. Sleep has been terrible this week, I have to work on getting to bed earlier and actually falling asleep...

Struggling with being sick last week and HIUNGER! Ack! Realized from a post Happy Teacher posted that my stomach acid is rearing it's ugly head....I  think I have to accept I have stomach acid issues, they just go in remission and then get trigered... and after a little research as to Why oh why is this happening again??? Found out antibiotics can trigger it... So paying attention to acid and hunger ...and white knuckling the phantom hunger....and trying to ignore it. That is why I need these boards- constant reminders, but it does help...now that I realize what is happening, I can pay attention.

Happy Monday OH Peeps!  My weekend was ok.  I spent the whole weekend trying to poop.  I'm seriously not kidding.  I ended up taking 4 stool softeners and then 4 laxatives and finally things started moving.  And despite the massive movement, I was up a half pound this am.  WTF?

QOTD: I'm neither.  I'm a mid day person.  I wake up at 7am and I'm in bed by 10 pm.  No early mornings or late nights please. I just I'm just difficult...

Time since surgery: 2 1/2 years

B: Skinny latte and breakfast sausage

S: Fitjoy Peppermint Bark Bar

L: Aidells Chicken Meatballs and Low Sugar Ketchup

S: String cheese and nuts

D: Going out to dinner with a friend and its Restaurant week.  What would you choose? I'm still undecided.   http://www.channel3000.com/madison-magazine/dining-and-drink /restaurant-week/harvest/156109201

E: Run at lunch

W/V: Started

Sad to say, I get your weekend "activity."

It looks like it all comes as a full meal, so you are choosing from each category.  I would choose:

Waldorf salad.  Substantial, and with nuts.  I would eat not very much of it, mostly the nuts.

Pork shoulder.  I love roast pork, and the way this one is being fixed with the pineapple and Thai overtones--nice!

Lemon Meringue custard with cranberry puree.  I would not be able to eat much--I get a severe RH reaction--but I would have a few bites and leave the rest for husband!

Enjoy!

7 am is early!

On the weekends, if my eyes open and there is still a '7' on my clock (even 7:59), I close my eyes and try to go back to sleep! 7:00am, in my book is early!
