What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?

I ate them for 3 days in a row last week at the conference and last night I was on the couch googling how to make them. The recipe exists, but I am just really unclear on the sous vide process and how that works. I read that you can forego the fancy $200 machine and stick stuff into a ziplock baggie but I am still not sure how it all works. I might need to make that a project for the weekend.

I love this post. Thanks for the details and pix. You and your cute daughter--so happy. What a great memory for her.
LOVING THESE PHOTOS! Thank you for going to the march!! Such a wonderful way for us all to come together. I was stranded at my conference hotel with no car so I couldn't go but my 20 year old sent me photos and video of her at the one here in Austin. She said it was peaceful and really inspiring. *****s UNITE!
You look so tiny in these pictures. It is really crazy to see how much you have changed. I think it makes me more aware that I have changed too. We are pretty frickin' rock-star. WOOT!!
Also...the egg bites. Yummy. I had a bacon one last week and it was good. This morning they only had the pepper one and it was even better. Love that there is something protein forward low carb at Starbucks that I can grab without feeling guilty.

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
I really need a pink hat now... really.
I saw pictures from my cousins in Austin (twenty-somethings), and she captured some fantastic pictures... she's a photographer, so she really captured the moments so well. So awesome your kid was there, marching together with me, and my family members too!
You have changed even more than me! So many people on this board have literally transformed themselves, it's so dang inspiring when we do the before/after shots!!!
Hey, so I have to tell you something... went to our counselor on Friday, and I haven't been since just before surgery (Riley's counselor, really, but I go intermittently)... I walked in and she started complimenting me about how great I look... and what came out of my mouth?? "Thanks... BUT... Look at this... look at that"... as I went to sit down she looked at me and said "Well I just won't compliment you anymore if you don't like it!"... and I had to stop myself, and tell her that she is right, and then I just said "Thank you, very much!"...
Really gotta get that accepting praise down better... and I also thought of you, and how we talked about this before!
