I hope it has all gone well for you!
My first day after surgery was challenging, but after I got home from the hospital, things went so well.
My doctor assured me that the RNY surgery is safer than gallbladder surgery and safer than a hysterectomy, and both of those are very common surgeries.
Come back here for support! It is the best place I know for that.
You should be nervous, it is a big deal. That said, I am SO GLAD I did it. I wrote my 20-yo daughter a letter just in case, and made sure things were said. That is normal, too. By now you are already in your surgery. Good for you! It is life changing. I had lots of abnormalities before surgery. They are mostly gone now, with a nearly 70 pound weight loss. You will feel so much better so soon. Rough couple of weeks and then... hurray!
Surgery went well .Thank you guys so much .. Im in alot of pain but the hospital is doing a good job of controlling it .my doctor wants me on a water diet for 2weeks... Thanks again everyone!
Wishing you a speedy recovery, let us know how you are doing when you can.
