Our similarities continue to make me laugh. I share your love of the heating pad and it looks like we went to the same place for breakfast. Lol

Yay for football! My husband was never a sports guy until he met me. I just giggle to myself when he puts on football without me asking. LOL I need to get him one of those "Your wife, my wife" t shirts with the one football fan next to the girly stick figure. It's so appropriate.

Good morning everyone. Had a bit of an off day yesterday, just didn't feel like anything was going down too well so I ended up just having a protein shake for dinner. Fingers crossed that today goes smoother. Spent a little more time going through my closet yesterday too and sorted out some pants and jeans. I tried on lots and grabbed a pair of size 20 jeans that I was expecting to be working into and they fit my waist perfectly. It was both a happy and frustrating moment because I carry a lot of weight in my legs and they haven't been shrinking at anywhere near the same rate so I wouldn't be comfortable wearing them out. Still crazy to hold up the waist of the ones that fit now and compare them to the ones that fit in July.
QOTD Couch and blanket are a package deal 100% of the time. In the warmer weather I never go downstairs to the couch and TV, we spend our evenings outside but I will bring a blanket outside when the weather gets cooler to try to extend the outdoor season. Once it's indoor weather and I hit the couch in the evenings I'm always under a blanket with an electric heating pad on my back. It's the most amazing thing ever.
B - slice of bacon and coffee w/ hazelnut creamer
L - chicken in the crockpot
D - more chicken from the crockpot
S - we'll see how the day goes, turkey bites or protein shake
Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

QOTD: our beds are piled with comforters and our couch has a stack of colorful throws nearby, so yep - I'm a blanket person! I think I like the weight on them, too (in addition to the warmth)
I'm supposed to meet my sister and mother for lunch and I don't know where we're going (yet...), so I'm not 100% sure of this menu, but so far:
19 months out
B: plain homemade Greek yogurt, NSA blackberry/blueberry sauce
S: protein/Miralax mango lassi, coffee with half & half
L: ? something bariatric-friendly
D: leftover chicken fajita (meat and veggies only)
probably another Greek yogurt if I can afford the calories
ex: Aqua Zumba (my first time exercising since I sprained my ankle a week ago - but I think a water-based thing should be safe...)
Morning folks!
so I did get a second wind of energy and did all my errands yesterday. I even impulse bought a hour glass Genie. It's a waist trimmer/compression belt. I wanted something to stabilize my muffin top loose skin during exercise. I didn't use it for running, but will use it for jumping jacks, frog jumps etc.
Today I'm going to focus meal planning for the week- for the family and myself. I'll run to the store for whatever parts I may still need. My son ended up liking the Girl Scout cookies I bought yesterday- yes! When I know my kids like something I won't mess with it. Whew-- safe. Well except for the pie my mother in law sent-- but she's a horrible baker, so we'll likely toss is. I got my 4 miles in already, and laundry is 90% done. Easy day in the making!
Qotd: yes, yes to blankets. I have a snuggie on my couch the family fights over and a heated throw. On my bed I have flannel sheets/ a blanket and a heated blanket for my side. I don't like any hint of being cold, but it's not as big of a problem as it was last year. Now it's more of a preference to feel toasty warm.
Weight today: 192, 20+ months out
m1: 4oz protein shake
m2: 1 fried egg, 3oz ham, 1 pancake
m3: ~4oz ribeye/ salad
m4: pork loin, sweet potato
m5: yogurt, berries
5'6.5" High weight:337 Lowest weight:193/31 BMI: Goal: 195-205/31-32 BMI
I said I was going to get on here while it was still morning.... 11:08.... My eating has been kind of a train wreck the last couple of days so I need to do my own little BOT.... at my 'OH NO!' number of 170 this AM....
Not feeling well as well as Menopause is rearing it's ugly head, and my sleep schedule is off, I am overtired and when you are up at 2AM not good choices are happening in the kitchen. Friday night at 2AM I was eating popcorn with butter. I've decided popcorn is a magical food...we have small pouches yet can eat pretty much a gallon or more of it.. So Saturday AM threw out the kernels..It is going on the list of foods I only eat outside my home or with other human beings present where peer pressure will make me control myself...
QOTD: Warm blanket from Dryer sounds divine!! I have been doing the blanket dance lately - again because of menopause , the blanket is on and then it is off...and then it is on... etc. etc....
Just got off the phone with the Library lady...planning my teaching Art/painting classes for the Summer. Hate that I have to commit in January for the summer. She has been hounding me for weeks already. I made one on my Birthday 7/25. I may regret that. Good news is she raised my rate without me asking... Last summer when I had to cancel 2 classes, first because of leg surgery, and second when I fell.... she called around to get a replacement, and realized I was cheap....
B: Latte with fairlife milk and Miralax, Egg, cheese bacon low carb wrap
L: Chili, cheese, sour cream, avocado
D: Chicken parm (sauce and cheese)
Snacks: Protein drink, PB on spoon, trail mix(homemade), protein bar(maybe)
Drinks- water and cranberry, chai latte, tea, coffee
Ex: Done- modified 21 day fix
OK I just realized I have a cheese theme going here for every meal. For today, I am just going with it....
