Morning weekend munuers! It's a lazy weekend for sure, but it was nice to see my brother before he gets deployed again.

So far I've had chicken fingers and bacon. That's a good day right there.

I like blankets in bed at night. I like the weight. But on the couch? If it's cold, sure, but I'm rarely cold. Right now I'm uncovered and in shorts, while SOMEONE is sitting next to me wrapped up in a comforter

Good morning! The power is out again. I'm sitting here under a blanket in front of the fireplace drinking a cup of coffee that I warmed up on the stove from yesterday with my miralax in it.

What does everyone use for BBQ sauce?? I have used the Walden farms brand before, but I was wondering if there was a better homemade version.

My food for the day is kind of up in the air. Good news is, my son cooked and shredded a nice pork roast yesterday. So, despite no power, I have my protein covered.

B- shredded pork with low sugar ketchup

L- shredded pork with low sugar ketchup

s- snytrax nectar protein shake.  What is the trick to mixing these up?? I always get chunks of the powder that doesn't dissolve.

D- not sure. Praying the power is back on by then!!  If it is, I want to bake some fish

QOTD- I love blankets. I'm always cold.  I have a wicker basket of them in my living room. In the mornings as everyone wakes up, they get a blanket and we sit and drink coffee.

Have a great day everyone!

I use whatever sugar laden brand is in our fridge. I use BBQ sauce very rarely, and sparingly when I do. IMO it's not worth the extra money/energy to buy or mJe sugar free version just for me. I generally don't dump so it hasn't been an issue. Same with ketchup.

I agree, I don't use ketchup and bbq sauce enough to worry about it. I do find even with normal bbq sauces some are much lower sugar than others if I xheck the label.

I've also given up on finding low carb bread. Too expensive and never worth it taste wise. I keep a loaf of Ezekial bread and a package of Thomas lite multugrain english muffins in the freezer...out of sight but there if I really wanted them.

I find the liw carb wraps and pitas wor****asionally too and don't negatively effect the scale.

I like the fuzzy navel and the cappuccino flavors... the problem for me is the foam. Ugh, so gross. I generally put it in a shaker bottle and just shake the crap out of it, put it in the fridge for a while, shake it some more, then leave it in the fridge overnight. When I drink it the next day I just swirl it around gently to make sure it's all evenly mixed. No chunks and no foam. :)

Yes fuzzy navel and cappuchino 2 favorites. Fuzzy navel is the only one i've found I like in water.... i extra dilute and add extra sweetener.

I also like to make an orange julius with it in the blender. Plain kefir, fuzzy navel, vanilla, sweeter, ice. So good.

I was going to try to use your recipe once and couldn't find it.  I ended up not doing it quite the same way (forgot about the kefir), but it turned out fine.  But I'm doing it your way for sure next time - that sounds great!

Good morning all -

I tried to log in while on break at work this morning and couldn't remember my password so I had to re-register with a new name.  I just added a 2 to my user name.   I could not get my email to load on my phone so I couldn't just change my password.

QOTD - I always have a blanket on me when I'm on the couch and both of my dogs have to be under the blanket right beside me.  They are constantly jockeying for position to be right next for me.  They usually give each other 15 or 20 minutes before one of them is crawling over the other and pushing her way next to me.

Breakfast - 2 turkey sticks, string cheese

Snack - celery sticks and 2 laughing cow cheese wedges

Lunch - Mock Spanish Rice

Snack - turkey stick, string cheese

Dinner - Romaine lettuce salad w/ cucumber, green bell pepper, and mushrooms and 5 oz. New York Strip Steak
