OK, the honeymoon is over?
Maybe you've developed a stricture?

Years ago I went to the local support group meeting. The bariatric surgeon was the speaker...Question and answer. I loved when they would come. You could ask really complex questions.
The question was asked about strictures...When do they occur. He said most occur around the 3 week post op time period. But, he also said they can occur at anytime...

I had a situation like this about my third month in. I would get what most vets here call "the foamies" -- which if you haven't had, is pretty miserable. It's caused by food basically getting somewhat stuck before the stomach. It would feel like taking a sip of water would help -- but what a fool's fix that is!! That makes it 100% times worse. If it were minor -- I would just feel that feeling like you have to throw up for quite a while. Frankly, tossing it up was the quickest and easiest way for me to stop it...
For me, there were certain foods that always seemed to cause it: tuna and cucumber slices were two. But like you, what concerned me is that suddenly food that was a go-to -- like chicken or beef would randomly cause it.
I found that it really wasn't sudden. I had relaxed somewhat and wasn't as careful every time in really chewing up my food. There were times when I would eat just one more bite and that was all it took to cause it. A few times, the meat was just especially dry or stringy --
Good news is that it passed as I learned to slow the hell down and to stop BEFORE I felt full. It's sort of a self-limiting problem that way. There's really nothing I cannot eat easily now -- and sometimes I wish I had that check and balance system back!

This exact thing is happening to me too! Sometimes I'm eating too fast or eat a bit too much. If I'm especially hungry I REALLY have to be careful, slow down and stop eating WAY before I'm full! Also experiencing where food I thought I loved doesn't even taste the same anymore... So I move on to something else! Good Luck!

Happened to me at about two months. Ended up throwing up several times a wee****il I learned to slow down, chew really well, and stop before it was too much. It also felt like a heart attack... especially with chicken. Throwing up was the quickest resolution. I am four months out now and that has not happened for a month or more.
Good morning!
Sorry... I used to be that daily reader & back throughout the day. Life has been busy....
So sorry to hear that is happening to you.
Your journey has inspired me and I hope that what ever it is that it will resolve with time.
What has you weight management centre said?
I am still only half way through my first week.
I have no experience or insight to share...
Take care
