It is, and it is fun! I skeptical in going, but its really like darts....but with an axe. It has very little to do with strength, which makes it fun for mixed groups of all levels.

Morning folks!! Congrats for getting through meat week everyone!!
I'm off today, so still lazing around in bed. I have to take my son to an oral surgeon- he has teeth that still haven't erupted- and it's causing havoc with his braces. This is the second surgeon we're seeing since the one from our first consult never called us back... grrr. And today I'm getting my body composition scan. I told my sister about it last night and she said she thinks I'm obsessed (insert eye roll here). Won't bother to bring that subject up with her again. Nothing major for the weekend-- usual kids activities, cleaning and prepping for the week.
Qotd: I don't participate in Meat week-- catwoman had said something that rings true for me. I found something that works for me and I don't want to tamper with it. I don't doubt meat week it has it benefits -- but when I'm in a grove I stick with it. The few changes I've adopted since the new year seems to be helping as I am losing and seems to have left the 195 zone I was hovering around for so long.
20 months out. 191.3 today
m1: 2 scrambled eggs, 1/3c turkey says sage crumbkes, cheese
m2: yougurt, berries, cheerios
m3: 8 jumbo shrimp, sautéed
m4: maybe steak- but need to pick some up.
My pic today is what I like to think of as unanticipated skinny girl problems. Was wearing these boots yesterday (that I love!!) and after crossing my legs the color rubbed off in my leggings. It was hard trying to avoid crossing my legs-- odd since I never used to be able to cross them at all!

I have two close friends that have had WLS 'with me' in the last year... we have a motto amongst us... YOU DO YOU.
We are all different, and so it shouldn't surprise any of us that we do things differently to get the results that work for us.
AMAW/CAMAW or Not, it all depends on what works for you. As long as you are happy with where you are, that's all that matters
(I love those leggings! Hopefully that stain will come out!)

Love the look and hope you get the stain out!
You are losing, and have to know yourself..... when we aren't getting the results we want we need to reevaluate... and like you said, a few tweaks and you are back in business... We just don't have the option of putting our heads in the sand... not cured...
So excited for your bodyfat scan... interested to hear about the place, and what you think of the whole shebang....good Luck!

Morning everyone. TGIF what a crazy week at work and yesterday totally sucked, but I didn't let it get to me and stayed right on track. I ended up having the baked chicken for dinner instead of stopping for steak.
QOTD: I did great this week and I have learned that in order for me to get my last 30lbs off I have to track and measure everything. I also have to make sure I keep my water intake up. I seem to stray away from doing the correct things when I am overly stressed. This is a work in progress, but I am getting better at not letting things bother me.
B: Pepperoni/cheese and a yogurt with small coffee.
L: Deli meat roll ups with 2oz pork rind
D: 3oz filet mignon with blue cheese butter and maybe a shrimp or two
S: 2oz beef jerky
Vitamin patches on
30min treadmill
45oz of water in. I have been meeting my goal of 100oz a day all week and I can feel a difference.
I did weigh myself this morning and I am down 3 1/4 lbs. I am very happy with this as my monthly goal is to lose 5lbs a month until I reach my goal weight. I have 1lb left to lose to meet my January goal.
My granddaughter Annabelle. She will be six weeks old tomorrow.
