NSV - with Pants
So I am 8 weeks out. Running is going well (3.6k yesterday) eating is pretty good and thankfully I have gotten my thirst back! -getting that much water in was almost torture when you are NOT thirsty. Learning the joys of yoga to keep limber.
However this post is about a NSV.
I have these jeans. They are really unique. They are made from strips of denim sewn together vertically. I haven't fit into them in 6 years. But through the ending of a marriage and a couple of moves they avoided the purge. They are so unique I always hoped to wear them again.
Yesterday was that day! I got so many compliments at work and it felt great. They were even a bit baggy in the legs.
Down from a size 24 to a size 20!
Also today wearing a shirt I couldn't stuff myself into before surgery!
Loving this :D

Of the jeans or of the progress? lol. No progress pics yet (though I have taken one, maybe after a few more weeks)

Congratulations!!!!
The NSVs really keep us going!
This morning I put on a pair of pants I bought about a month ago... they were tight, and really, I should have bought a size bigger. But I knew that since I could at least get them on, I'd lose more...
This morning I put them on and there's more room in them. They are jeggings, and I was wearing them with a long shirt before to hide how tight they were (looked like leggings)... today I have them on with a shirt that doesn't cover my butt, and they look like regular jeans!
I love the NSV's! I wish I would have started a list on my phone and written down every single one as I lost. Because I know they are lost in a jumble now in my brain!

I feel so sad for you. My condolences.
I mean, it's nice you can wear those jeans again. But it won't last. Pretty soon they'll be several sizes too big. You very well might be able to get both your legs into one of those pant legs when you're finished.
Enjoy them. Wear them often. They'll look pretty foolish on you before you know it!
